So, when I was smoking, I would light one up and slip down the road with an analog hanging in my lips while on my motorcycle. I never had one fall out, but didn't care if one did either. I'm thinking I need a helmet mod. LOL

Think about jumping into your car after work, starting the car, grabbing your pv, and taking off. Now imagine that you have to wait until you're done vaping before you can leave. It sucks.

Maybe something exists, or there is a super-mini cheapie that can get me a decent vaping experience, but won't hurt my wallet if it falls out?? IDK, just fishin' for ideas.

I don't currently have a bike, but oddly enough I was thnkig about this idea the other day.

The idea I came up with:

Get a piece of vinyl tubing just large enough to fit over whatever you are using for a mouthpiece and long enough to reach a pocket (preferably chest pocket) or wherever your pv is.

Vape and Ride.

Not sure how well it would work, and not sure if an auto battery would be activated or a manual be too much of a pain, but... that was the cheap and easy idea I came up with.

I bicycle everywhere; I usually pull one out when I stop at a light. If I use it while i'm riding, I'd probaby crush the cartomizer with my teeth.

You know, sometimes it just takes another set of eyes. I wouldn't leave the cigarette in my mouth for the entire time while riding. Most of the time I held a cigarette in my left hand - except when shifting or taking a drag. I can put my pv in my jacket pocket or just hold it in my teeth while shifting or drawing on it.

Now I just have to get a lanyard, like Calculon said, until I can find/make a suitable holder to mount on my handlebars. Oooh, how deep is a 44 magnum cylinder? That should be around 11mm diameter, and a 510 is 9-something mm, so that would look acceptable on a bike!

I was thinking that at first, but I found out that most autos are sound activated. The noise of the engine or the wind would pretty much keep it firing constantly. Ouch.

I have heard of the sound activated auto batteries, but I have never had one.
I do have 2 DSE801 auto-batteries and some E9s and they are all vacuum operated.

Just hold a PV in your hand would work of course, and a lanyard would take care of where to put it.

A full-face helmet would be a different matter- a small vinyl tube MIGHT be small enough to fit through and not be uncomfortable. Maybe.

Most of my riding has been in states that allow unencumbered riding, however and I have zero experience with full face.
Quarter helmets, yes...

Now you have me thinking about that....hmmmm. I have a tankbag on my bike where I keep my keys etc in. I'm still a new rider and would never try vaping while the bike was actually moving. If I ever did get to the point where I could...I'd probably just stick my PV in my bra. I guess thats one advantage to wearing one! lol

What if the PV fell in and the button got activated, ouch...

Maybe this belongs in the mod section, but - what about a battery pack that sets in your pocket and a wire from it that goes to a mouth piece/juice holder that goes to your mouth? All that is needed is a 2 wire cord that has two connectors, one for the battery and one that attaches to the atomizer. Only other thing to fix up would be the button....

Rubberband it to the back of your clutch hand. My 76 Harley would definitely set off an auto with the vibrations alone. Chain drive, solid motor mounts. yeah baby, I love it.

My 49 panhead has a hand shift with a suicide clutch. One more thing to try to think about while riding in traffic and I'd be a grease stain on someone's back bumper. Vaping can wait till I'm parked.

However, I could see this working on my BMW. I already have a 12v socket to plug in a usb adapter for a 510 pass-thru. It would be no different than drinking water from a camelback with a full face. When not in use, either tuck it in the fairing somewhere or throw a strip of velcro on it and stick it on the tank or something.

Funny you should mention a helmet mod. Extreme mod man 'raidy' made a headset mod that fires when one tilts their head upwards.

He doesn't sell his products (yet) but is giving some atty secrets in his mega thread.

I know, that headset would be great for gaming!

Our temperatures are starting to get near freezing, so I think I'm going to have to put the cover on the bike for a few months. :(

At least I'll have some shopping time though! Maybe Raidy will come up with another mod that will WOW!
