Want to build a puck,but need to know how to scrap an old 510 batt so I can use the carto connection..Thanks

You mean the battery connection? The easiest way is with a tubing/pipe cutter or a dremel with a cut off disc.

How about buying one from one of the many venders .

Buying them is indeed the easy route, but if you want to recycle then screw a dead carto or atty on the battery and wiggle back and forth. If you stick something like a dowel in the atty tube you get better leverage on it.

A lot of the fun in modding comes from making something out of bits from the junk pile. Yeah you have to buy some things but it is fun to see just how much you can do with what you have laying around the shop.
