posts that receive positive responses give notifications at the top of your screen next to your username. private messages the same thing. subscribing to threads tend to flood your inbox just so you know. no notifications for negative responses to your posts other than monitoring the thread you posted in. also at the top of screen you will see settings for editing your stats, and such.

Or you can click on What's New at the top left, and then My Posts. Personally, I subscribe, as Ocelot suggested.

As far as your profile pic, go to Settings at the top right, then Edit Profile Picture on the left. That will add/edit your profile picture to your profile page.

If you actually mean your avatar (the image below your name on every post), then click Settings and then Edit Avatar on the left side.

Just be sure your avatar follows protocol in the rules. :)

Pardon me, I would just like to clarify that by "positive responses" all that is is that someone has clicked "Like" on your post. It does not mean anyone actually responded.

When subscribing, you have a choice of email notifications, or just notification in your control panel. I just do the notification to control panel, and when I click Settings, I see any threads listed that have new posts. :)

you can also keep track of the threads you have posted in by going to "my profile" and then clicking the "my activity" tab and then the second tab in that is your username and checking the threads you have posted in if you don't want to subscribe

where each one is a clickable tab:
My Activity Visitor Messages About Me Friends Classifieds Feedback Score

All hottierockstar Friends Subscriptions Photos

hope this helps :D
