Help a newbie upgrade battery please?!

So I think I have it narrowed down to the vv3 or the Vamo v5. As I am totally new to this type, is there anything I should definitely know about the battery? So far, what I've taken away is not to get it from China.

The innokin Itaste VV3 is a passthrough battery.
Who knows, with a passthrough, maybe it will turn out to remain useable for a very long time (I mean years) as a plugin; if so, it would make a great backup.

The Vamo V5 is a tube for replacement batteries, so you will also need charger and a battery (or 2 so you use one while the other charges); with the Vamo, you also have the option to use the short battery (18650 is 65mm long, 18350 is 35mm long) so there's that option for a shorted 'thingy' to move around with; I'd say if you get a Vamo, get 1 18650 and 1 18350, and a charger that can charge either.
