Hey guys, really need some help. I just got this rda a couple days ago and it has been acclaimed for its great flavor. However, after ten or so builds, the flavor I'm getting is either muted or tastes bad. I'm using Koh Gen Do Japanese cotton and have tried both 24g and 26g coil builds.
(As a side note, I'm also getting a lot of juice spit back. Anyway to fix this, as well?)

I'm being somewhat conservative with the cotton and most of my builds (including the one in the picture) have been about 0.7 ohm (and no lower than 0.5) image.jpg

I noticed with my derringer If the coil is to close to the wall or the lid it'll arc. If you're tasting hot metal it could be that. - the only downside to all these little bitty attys.

Or you may need to give it a good bath with water and vinegar to make sure all the machine oil is off.
What he said :)

How would one go about cleaning it with vinegar and water? Do I make a solution of the two or first in vinegar and then in water, etc? Thanks for the help guys :)

You should soak and scrub all of your atty's. They're machined parts, the process inherently leaves a residue, some people use an ultrasonic cleaner. I'm to cheap for that. I just mix warm water and either dawn or vinegar in a cup and soak the gear (completely disassembled)for a while, then give the pieces and parts a good scrubbing with my ex-wife's toothbrush(feel free to use an old one). Then I rinse it thoroughly with warm water.

I usually use vinegar first, and if it still has an oil or funk taste then i'll repeat with dawn.
