Hello,

I've been vaping for about 10 months and this is my first post on ecf :)

I have a Koh Gen Do that I got from eBay, and not matter how I'm building I get this awful cotton taste and no flavour at all on my igo rda. I have another cotton box titled "Medical Cotton", probably sterilized, and it gives me no cotton taste and great flavour.

Recently, I got a subtank mini and tried the included slice of japanese cotton - same experience as with the Koh Gen Do. I tried dense build, fluffy build, a lot of cotton and a little bit of cotton.

Why can't I get any japanese cotton to wick? What am I not doing properly?

Thanks,
Moshe.

japanese organic cotton tends t have a taste to it, but you can try boiling it to remove the taste.

Also, make sure youre not overwicking; I tend to leave the 2 halves together and cut a sliver a bit wider than my coil. Then roll one end, slip through the coil, fluff up both ends. I screw the chimney section on, then tuck the 2 tails into the chimney. You want enough for the cotton to be on the deck, not stuffed in the deck, but just on it. Make sure the juice holes arent covered.

Never had a dry hi like this, even while chain vaping and works like a charm every time ^^ Good luck!
