Hi, im really new to the e-cig world an i bought a vapor king, everything was going really smooth, but then i started tasting a weird burned taste on my cartomizer so i thought it was because it had run out of nobacco juice, so i refill it like several videos ive seen on the net, but now even the new fresh cartomizers taste like burned, can any one know why?

I would try Taryn's refill trick (to make sure the juice gets down to the atty). Maybe, let them sit for 30-60min if still tastes burnt.

Also, it could be that it did just get too burnt. Maybe try rinsing them out.

As far as a new one tasting burnt, the only thing I could think of is that the air is too restricted (the holes in between the bat and carto) and it is just over-heating and burning the filling. Make sure you can get a somewhat easy pull/drag.

Hope this helps...

How long did you vape it?? you may have vaped it too much and burned it out completely. If thats the case the burnt taste never goes away.

I refill at the first sign of change in flavor! a slight burnt marshmallow taste.

You can try running it under warm water and blowing it out until it's dry and refill.
If that doesn't help.....trash it, it's gone!!:(

Maybe its the battery. when i ordered my first kit I had one battery that made everything taste burnt on it. i could put the same cart on another battery and it tasted fine. back on the bad battery and it tasted burnt. I let mark know and he replaced it no questions asked and the new battery worked great. The old one went in the trash. it was a short auto battery in black.

Yep, if there is not enough airflow, you will overheat the carts and cause them to burn out before their time.

Make sure that your battery is free from and juice residue that may have built up over time. Clean the threads with a paper towel and use a small/thin pin to clear out the air holes to increase the airflow.

If these are refilled carts, how many times have you refilled them? Because they are disposables, sooner or later, they will finally give out. If you refilled them a few times already, it's time to dump them.

Worst case scenario, have you tried other carts? If so and you have no problems with them AND the one's with the burnt taste are new, you probably got a bad batch. It happens sometimes and V4L will work with you on replacing a bad batch.

I suggest to everyone here, when you take a new cart to open it up and look inside to see if it's dry.
If the fill looks white, it's dry and you need to add liquid, sometimes as much as 6 or more drops.
Do not assume just because it's a new cart, it's filled with enough liquid.

You'll be surprised when you start doing that.
I was.
I do that now and every time I have to add liquid to a brand new cart.

If you vape a new dry cart, it will burn in no time flat.

Also keep in mind if you use a passthrough, it will burn up the liquid a lot faster than when you use a regular battery.

Also, if you take many draws in quick succession, you will burn the carto prematurely. During the day I have one batt going, but when I am vaping heavy at night, I usually have one on the pass through and one on a battery. Then I take 2 hits off one, then switch to the other. Carts last a lot longer without getting overheated that way. ;)

I was going through about 1.5 carts a day, and vaping on them until I tasted the burnt taste. I would refill them 3-4 times before the burnt taste was overwhelming the flavor of the juice. Now I switch between 3-4 carts a day and always top them off at the end of the day. Since doing this, I haven't tasted the burnt taste, and can refill them a lot more. I figured I used one until empty, refilled it , it lasted 3-4 days then I would toss the cart. Now I can re-use a cart for about two weeks.
