After about 2 months of enjoying my kanger Subtank mini with .5 ohm occ, I've been getting a burnt toast after 24 hours of replacing the coils. Sometimes even random dry hits. The coils don't work as consistently as they did months ago, an I don't know much about vaping but I'm sick of the unpleasant taste and costly replacements. Thought about getting a different cartomizer/clearomizer but my local vapor store said I would be wasting money. They suggested the Vertical kanger replacement coils as those are better somehow with longevity. Haven't tried these yet. Can anyone help me figure out why my coils suck so much?

If you have the horizontal coils, you can use a small needle to poke a hole through the cotton. Did you prime it well before putting it in the tank? I know it's a basic question, but sometimes people forget to that including me, I'll admit haha.

What watts are you at? I find I get burnt/dry hits above 25 watts on my 0.5 coils, which is exactly why I use the RBA deck and build my own.
