Help Buying batteries? No stores?

Is there any kind of brick and mortar chain that sells safe chemistry Li batts like for example LiMN or LiFe
I now I walked into a batteries plus and was looked at like I'm stupid. I mean cumon people get into the 21st century People have High energy high drain devices they want to power right?:mad:

I would figure I could go to frys the used to have all kinds of li-ion batts not now all I can find on their website:-x (which probably means same for store) is cr123s I'm looking for 10440 and 14500 for my next piece of modding research and no such thing at least from web searching.:facepalm::(

Radio Shack may have some, some hobby shops for remote controlled toys may, but in general, all of us have run into the same scenario - online is the best place to purchase, imo. Also if you happen to find some, be sure they are rechargeable - some CR123s for example are non-rechargeable and will cause problems if recharge is attempted.
