Help Buying batteries? No stores?

Is there any kind of brick and mortar chain that sells safe chemistry Li batts like for example LiMN or LiFe
I now I walked into a batteries plus and was looked at like I'm stupid. I mean cumon people get into the 21st century People have High energy high drain devices they want to power right?

I would figure I could go to frys the used to have all kinds of li-ion batts not now all I can find on their website (which probably means same for store) is cr123s I'm looking for 10440 and 14500 for my next piece of modding research and no such thing at least from web searching.

Radio Shack may have some, some hobby shops for remote controlled toys may, but in general, all of us have run into the same scenario - online is the best place to purchase, imo. Also if you happen to find some, be sure they are rechargeable - some CR123s for example are non-rechargeable and will cause problems if recharge is attempted.
