HELP! Can't taste flavors!

So I recently bought three new flavors from my local vape shop. They all tasted great for the first half hour and now none of them taste like anything. I know for a fact it's not the juice because I've bought flavors from them countless times and never had a problem. And I can smell the flavors once I blow out the vapor. So I know it's something to do with my taste buds. What can I do to "awaken" my taste buds and taste my delicious flavors again? I've heard of a trick you can use but I can't remember what it is.

You can try vaping something strong, like mint or menthol. Mostly it just takes a little time for your taste buds to return.

+ 1 on trying menthol, My taste buds are dead also and a couple of drops of Menthol added to a juice really helps.

I hate it when that happens. Rots. It will pass. Not uncommon for new vapers to get non-taste for a bit.

But I've been vaping for 3 1/2 months now. So I don't think it has to do with being new. Unless you consider 3 1/2 months being new lol

A saltwater mouth rinse or a couple of drops of lime juice on your tonge. Wait a few and vape away.

A full on lime juice garggle did the trick for me when I had this problem. I filled my mouth with it and garggled like I was using mouthwash. Worked like a champ.

I've been vaping for a little over 3 months and my taste buds still do that sometimes, LOL!

I KNEW the trick was lime juice! I just wanted clarification. Also, I didn't want to drink lime juice in case that wasn't what will work lol.

Ugh, I hate "tongue depression" (that's what I call it) I can vape my favorite juice for months and then suddenly one day my tongue has had enough and it's no bueno, no more. You can get some Biotene Spray at Walmart (or any drug store) and try using that, it helps me. But you may just have to try a few more different juice flavors for awhile.

I thought I heard somewhere that drinking fruit juice helps keep dry-mouth down which interferes with taste receptors. I also think vaping has a lot to do with smell, if you have a stuffy nose or a overly dry nose it dramatically blocks the flavor experience.
