Thanks for all the responses guys. I spent probably an hour today just looking at the minis, and I really would like to try something new, but regardless of how many color combos and attys I picture in my head I cant seem to get away from that copper vein. It's really what I wanted when I ordered my grand but was afraid I'd screw it up trying to clear coat it. A copper vein mini with brass button cover and brass rm2 is just beautiful!!! Im still scared of screwing it up but ive got to have it. I have a magma and a couple of igos. Maybe I'll send one of those to the catfish atty guy and try it on my grand but I'm pretty sure I've made up my mind on the mini. All thats left to do is hit the submit order button

I just clear coated mine, 2 coats 24-30ish long hours (down time) of dry time. just did the door and came out great!!! did tighten up the slide a bit but thats a win. the 2x crystal someone said worked great.
