help! DIY menthol crystals problems

Hello and thank you for reading, i am newish to DIY ejuice and i am a menthol fein. I am haveing problems keeping my menthol crystals liquid unless i reduce them to an ammount that i can not taste. I base the mc with pga and use VG. If anyone can help i can disclose full info on ammounts and ingredients. I can not find alot of info on net or from people so that is why im not putting down all the details. Thank you and im here prying someone can help.

When I was using crystals I mixed them in PG. Then a really warm water bath. Take the bottle out and shake it every minute or so. After they completely dissolve it can be kept at room temp. If they do happen to re-crystalize just nuke it for a few seconds. I never had that happen though. I just got lazy and started buying menthol

There are many ways to do it.

I nearly fill a bottle with crushed crystals and then add a bit of PGA and shake. I keep adding PGA and shaking until the bottle is full and the crystals are dissolved. A few drops from that will put a big menthol kick in any juice.

(PGA is pure grain alcohol which is available here under the brand name Everclear.)

Thank you, i use Vg, Dc99 sugusted useing Pg, i have been useing PGA to mix the MC, but sounds like i am adding way to much flavor base to my juice. About to make a batch with juat a few drops, thank you for your help. I owe you guys!

I made two batches of Menthol with my crystals. I took a mortar and pestle and ground them up to a fine powder. Then I put a graduated cylinder into a bowl of hot water. For the first batch, I filled the line up to 10mL of PG, then kept adding the crystal powder until the entire volume reached 30mL. You just stir until it's all dissolved. So that made a 66.6% batch. Then I did the same thing, but started with 27mL of PG and then mixed in the remainder to make a 10% batch. Simple and really good menthol.

I suppose you could do that with VG, but I prefer my flavors and additives to have PG.
