Help donations needed please help

I would like to ask this comunity to come together as we have in the past. My next door neighbor's two year old daughter passed away on Monday afternoon. As he is in the army and was just deployed to Texas to leave for Afganistan in two months and they do not have the funds to bury her. This will be his second deployment in the Mideast. His wife only works part time and goes to school. Please, if you can, help this family out. This was a very traumatic experience since no one knew she was sick. We still do not know the cause, so please help.

Sorry to hear about their loss, please have them check and ensure, can check his LES, to see if he had Family SGLI. This is automatic unless he denied the coverage and it would have covered his child for $10,000.

I'll ask a see but the way I understood it they don't or maybe they were not thinking straight, I know I wouldn't be.

I lost my 2 year old daughter in February of this year due to complications with the flu. I know what they are going through. Lots of confusion, blame, and pain. They will be in my prayers.

One of the things that helped my wife and I out was going to counseling. Our counselor specialized in grief counseling, and he really helped us out tremendously.

If they were a member of a local church, make sure they let them know. This type of thing really brings a church community together. Also, if you mention to the funeral home and the grave site that this was an infant, they typically give large discounts.
