HELP! ego c twist loose thread. tanks wont screw on

so ive got an ego c twist 650mah and unfortunately after 4 months i think the threading on the battery has given out. I try to twist on different tanks and it wont fit, so i know its the battery. I was REALLY hoping to not have to shell out another 30 bucks to replace the battery. I know its a long shot but was wondering if there was a way to fix this.

Maybe some teflon tape? (plumbers tape)

Snug to contact only then STOP
over tightening stretches out the threads. Literally thousands of complaints of stripped threads around.

dont toss the battery in the trash just yet. maybe one day you can use it for parts.

When you say it won't fit, what do you mean? Does it thread on and stay at all?

Try seeing if plumbers tape works, but at least you have an excuse to get a nice shinny new mod..
