Help Finding Airy DTL Tank with Cheap Coils

I had been using a Nautilus Aspire tank, though the tight draw (even with control ring removed) irritated me. I broke it and had to buy a replacement that day to avoid analogs. I let the guy at local B&M talk me into a Nautilus 2 with much better airflow, but now that I've had it for 2 weeks it's clear that the 2ml capacity just doesn't work for me, as I have to fill it several times per day.

I'm also not happy with the coil situation with these guys. I don't like paying $4 each, and the $1 knockoffs are of suboptimal quality.

The battery unit I'm using is an Eleaf Istick TC40W, and I usually run it at about 10W. Running that relatively low wattage will allow the battery to last all day in the single 18650 unit.

So I'm looking for a very airy, larger (~5ml) glass tank with cheap coils that won't kill my battery too quickly. I don't care about cloud size. I do need something that will work with all kinds of juice, because I usually buy the cheapest stuff the local shops sell. I don't want to wind coils, drip juice in for each hit, or really deal with any high maintenance aspect of vaping, because I have enough hobbies, time sinks, and money sinks, and I just want something as simple and reliable as cigarettes are, because many days I consider smoking again. For me, vaping is like methadone - it's not the thing I want, it just keeps me from wanting that other thing.

Please let me know what tanks you recommend, preferably with links because I don't always understand the abbreviations and shorthand that are common on the forums.

Thank you,

I'm sure I will get yelled at, but if you get a Kanger Subtank mini and the 1.2 coils (cheap enough) you should enjoy it. The Toptank should be fine also. They are low cost, I even use them as doorstops (new in box).

Sometimes you won't get what you want though unless you make it yourself, and it really doesn't take that long to make a coil and wick it, especially for 10 watts. I know you said you don't want to do that, so I suggested something that I know works, has a decent tank size and doesn't cost much.

Maybe consider a tank that takes the EUC ceramic coils, there are tons of tanks that will take them, they come in a wide variety of resistances and I am going to advise taking a look at this thread, if you decide you are interested, I just asked what tanks take them and got a huge list. This page will give you a list of tanks toward the end of the page. eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil

ETA: They aren't necessarily the cheapest coils, but they get great life. I am still on my first coil in a Mello III tank, although I think I will be switching tanks (like the coil, don't like the tank so much)

Can't help you out to much as drop in coils aren't really my thing, but whatever you decide, you should really have at least 2 set ups..you mentioned you broke something and you immediately had to go to the vape shop to buy a replacement. .well if you had a back up, you wouldn't be tempted to go back to smoking.. also , I know your concern for 4 dollar coils, but the concern for 2ml capacity wouldn't be as big a deal if you had a second device...so there is multiple reasons to have a back up device. These devices are fairly cheap compared to smoking and any serious vapor knows that having at least 2 working set ups is vital and a life saver...if you like the nautilus 2, get another and then you have 4mls for the day...I just got my brother into vaping and bought the N2 at an online vendor who are great and a pack of authentic coils half the price your talking about, 10 bucks for a 5 pack.....
