I'm about to order the parts for a DNA30 wood box mod. The box will be red oak with a red oak stain and I'd like to have a brass or gold finish on all of the buttons. I'm trying to find a brass/gold version of the popular stainless domed tactical switch like the pic below. A few hours of searching and no results as of yet.

The only other way I can think to do it is buying some brass bar and making a few top hat shaped buttons on my lathe and mounting them on top of a regular tactile switch with a short spring, like from a pen, underneath to keep them from rattling around. Maybe I'll grab a pen spring tomorrow and head to RadioSnatch and see what it will fit around, followed by a trip to the hardware store for some brass.

Also looking for a smaller brass/gold anti-vandal switch. All I can seem to find are 16mm or 19mm. I'd like something closer to 10mm if possible.
Any leads are appreciated, especially ones with sample request forms :2cool:

I think making your own is going to be your best option. I've looked for the same tact switch you're looking for as well as any brass/gold colored caps for tact switches, and have come up empty. The closest I've found is a few chrome colored ones, but that looks like .... on wood IMO.

With the anti vandal switch, I haven't seen one under 16mm in brass or gold. You probably will want to make that as well anyway, so that it will match the + - buttons.

Chipotle.
For the tactile I would buy some normal flat tactile switches and then purchase the appropriate diameter brass spheres, sand the sphere in half then epoxy it to the top of the flat tactile switch button. Then you would have a brass domed tactile switch just as you want.

Brass spheres are available from 1/16" diameter all the way to 3/4" diameter - McMaster-Carr
Just match the outside diameter to what you'd like to use and pick out whatever flat topped tactile switch you'd prefer.
