I think you'll find it has more to do with the juice, it's flavoring and your style of inhaling than with the device. You'll still want a unit with a good output to get enough vapor. You can cut the juice with some Wilton's Food Grade Glycerin to drop the nicotine content and use some Loran's flavoring if you need to adjust the flavor back up. You may just have to experiment with some juices for a while.

I'd get a M403 with at least 3 batts and 2 attys..

Same as M401 except M403 is shorter and closest ecig to an analog I have found.

You can buy a longer M401 batt if you need longer batt life.
