I have 2 questions and really appreciate your reply.
First, I bought some batteries before I read the link:
And I'd like to know if I should or should not use these batteries, i.e., in my IVP or Sigelei.

From fastech I got: Samsung ICR 18650-30B 18650 3.7V 3000mAh Li-ion Batteries
Second Question: I recently bought Nicotine juice and VG and PG. The last time I bought nicotine juice it was 36 mg and this time I got 60 mg, and I'm not quite sure on how to mix it to get 1.5 mg nicotine into my juice I make. I haven't gone to any calculators yet and tell me if I'm just being lazy please.

I got 140 flavors from TPA - The Perfumers Apprentice, and I even purchased some flavors that were not included in the pack. I ordered bottles from Container & Packaging Supply and at this point I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND them. They charged me way too much for shipping! About $49 when my order was only $50. I should have backed out an not placed the order when I saw that at checkout, but I didn't. It was late and I had spent so much time and effort comparing prices and then picking bottles and lids on their site. I like the bottles, but they came from 2 sources, and they charged shipping for each source. Well, Amazon doesn't do that when you get items from multiple sellers. I did email the company yesterday asking for a $24 refund. Let's see if they appease me. I will let you all know.

Okay... Other things going on... I gave up on the RDTA I got for $10 from fastech and put it in the "Give away or Sell pile. It's the...

Big Dripper Styled RDA 22mm, SS + Glass, 3.2ml with spring/ juice pump – Leaks out air holes / SKU: 1926201 It just does NOT produce enough vapor, and I had one heck of a time figuring out why it was leaking juice out of the air holes. I did figure it out, but then...not enough vapor. Being new to the world of coil building/wicking, I thought it was an issue with too little cotton, but no... In this case it was caused by how you fill the tank. You've got to be very patient. Still, if I pressed the (put juice on the coil) Drip button, too much juice would go on the coil and come out the air holes. I have decided I wouldn't want to drip and drive anyway - so I don't need it.

Oh another question comes to mind... What do you guys do with the stuff you don't want? Oh, I'll just make a new thread for that question.
Well, thanks if you can help me out with the battery question and the nicotine mixing question. Joya

Two thumbs down on the battery. Besides being low amps they are ICR chemistry. Which IVP & Sigelei do you have?

Thanks for your opinion on the Samsung ICR 18650-30B 18650 3.7V 3000mAh Li-ion Batteries. I'm hearing yea and nay on them and curious if I should use them or chuck them in the trash. I don't want to ruin any of my devices...Sigelie 150 watt, or have 2 Cloupor Mini (30 watt) or IVP mini (out for repair right now). I'll have to look into ...What is ICR chemistry. Thankfully I know now what's best and will stick to buying the best batteries possible. I gave one of the Samsung's away and still have 3 more. Have to thin out so I don't have way too much stuff. Gave away a Chi You mechanical and also a Storm vaporizer from South Beach Smoke. What's a good place to sell used stuff? What do you guys do with the stuff you don't want? Loving my Aspire Nautilus Mini tank, X-Pure RDA, Fogger v3 RDA, and E-leaf Lemo is nearly better than my Atlantis .5 v. Trying to rebuild disposable atomizer heads. Some work and some don't work too well. Just don't last very long. LOVE my Fogger v3 and X-Pure RDAs on my Sigelie 150 watt runing them at about 20 watts. Love Peaches and Vanilla Custard Ejuice I'm making myself. Got 140 flavors of flavor concentrate from The Perfumers Apprentice and VG/PG and nicotine from My Freedom Smokes.com. They are good guys, good prices and there if you call them.

throwing those batteries in to a 150 watt device is crazy... it could ruin them by venting a plume of fire inside the mod... get some VTC4's and NOT FROM FASTTEC. Get them from a reputable vendor like rtdvapor.com
buy simple things from fasttec -- like hunks of steel that have been hollowed out (Mods RDA RTA)
not batteries (or electronics imo)

USA. State: Inebriated.
Those batteries are a big time no-go. I'd check out RTDVapors or Illumn for good, authentic batteries. The prices are definitely competitive, too. Don't skimp out on batteries. In your Sigelei 150W you don't want any batteries less than 20A discharge rating. Something like a 15A large mAh battery MIGHT work for a while, but you just don't want to risk it. The Sig150 actually recommends "30A batteries" if I recall correctly, but those don't really exist or are very hard to find. With a 20A battery the lowest you can build and stay in the safety zone is down to about .22 ohms. That's rather excessive on a regulated device, the lowest ohms you should need to go is about .3ohms. Honestly I've found, with regulated devices, higher ohms work better.

With my devices that are no longer in use/defunct I just keep em in my drawer, pass em on to people who might find a better use for 'em. A good example is my Orchid, which I passed onto my friend @Humbardy. Unfortunately, he found the same problems I did with it, and I'm pretty sure it has found its way into his junk RTA drawer, lol. You can try re-selling stuff on the Classifieds/on other sites and stuff, but really you're not going to get your money back, and you'd be better off just passing it onto someone who MIGHT figure out a use for it.

Anyway, welcome to the ECF. If you have any more questions I'll gladly attempt to field them.

They are good for use in flashlights that use 18650 batteries. FastTech sells flashlights.

You can sell/trade unload your *unloved* gear (no counterfeit products) in the Classifieds & Swaps Forum.

Okay, You have convinced me. They are going in the give away pile and I will advise they be used on something that is not vaping related. I do have other good batteries and will continue to use only those in my mods. They are Efest 3100mAh MR 18650 3.7V LI-MN 20A and came from a reputable seller. Later, I was given the link to a list of recommended batteries and I purchased them selecting from that list. Just in case a newcomer needs it...Here's that link:

I should probably do a search and see what other good info Baditude has posted.

No, those purple Efest 3100mah 18650 IMR batteries are only 6 amps continuous, not 20 amps.

Thanks so much for helping me like this. It's very complicated and I'll never understand it all thoroughly, so thanks for letting me know what would be best to get for my Sigelei and mods running .5 or .6 ohms. I will use those Efest I have in my devices running 1.8 ohms for example. And I'll get the VTC4 batteries to use with devices running my .6 ohm coils. That's as low as I ever go. My rule is never below .5 ohms. You may have saved me a hand or an eye hear. I'm a bit superstitious. I wouldn't be surprised because this vaping is almost too good to be true. I gave up cigarettes and its as if I didn't have to quit. One day a battery I got from South Beach Smoke got very hot like an iron. I dropped it on the table, yelled for my husband and it was smoking. I handed him my mouse pad to use as a pot holder, and he took it outside on the cement, and we left it out there for a few days. I had some other batteries in my clothes closet in a bag, and I moved them to outside on the cement too. I'm still not sure where to store good or bad batteries safely. Maybe a metal box outside ? LOL> I know one thing.. If that battery had caught fire in the bag in my closet, my house would be burnt to the ground right now. In that case, it only turned out to be a defective switch. I have watched a video on how batteries can explode. Luckily I really don't care for mechanical mods. But, I do have one, and I got a fuse for it. I don't know how much that will help. I also keep an eye on the batteries I have, watching for leaks or bulges or any problems. I said I planned to discard them after 6 months of use. Of course it all depends on how much you use and recharge them. Thanks again, Joya

It is recommended to store or carry good batteries in plastic battery cases. They are inexpensive, and some vendors include them for free when you buy batteries from them. Don't allow the positive end of the battery to come into contact with anything metallic (coins or keys in a pocket, purse, or book bag), as this completes the electrical circuit and causes the battery to over-discharge into thermal runaway.

Hi All - from a shaken up AW 18490 battery owner!

Places like Home Depot, Radio Shack, or Batteries Plus will take bad batteries for disposal. Place a piece of tape over the positive end of the battery.
