Newbie alert!!!!

Please help i have just purchased a v2 Micro.

i have a couple of questions:

1. Are they any good?
2. What’s the v2 all about?
3. What’s the "real" model number of the unit (501 etc)

Also I was going to try and buy a Volcano V kit, but found that they didn't ship to the UK. I was most disappointed as the had one of those chargy pack things.

I also found a lot of internet stuff on the Green Smoke and was quite tempted by that too

Have i made a mistake with my Gamucci?

What mods can i do on the Gamucci Micro v2?

Ok its a bit more than a couple of questions.... Please come back to me

First - Gamucci Micro may be RN4081. If you can find RN4081 (or Smokstik or Njoy) cartridges (for on the atomizer) or cartomizers, try those to see if you have RN4081. That's what the model looks like to me. but it could be the Chinese model referred to as "Trio" and that might be L88b or something (in which case it has 510 threading)

Not bad though not one of the most popular slim ecigs. 180mah batteries

Stuff you see a lot about on the net is usually crappy or ripoff-priced stuff with marketing types running the show. They have all kinds of bs review sites and "testimonials" etc some proving each of them is the BEST or the HIGHEST RATED. It's bs as are their claims for how long a battery or cart lasts.

Visit Liberty-Flights.co.uk if you want to browse a good truthful multibrand ecig vendor. We are very fond of their US shop too.

Also - anything the same thickness and length as a king cigarette is going to be annoying to use and fill and have extremely short battery life. You need to go to at least 9.2mm diameter and 100mm+ long to get anything decent. And on slim ecigs I recommend manual batteries (easier to get a good hit, resistant to being damaged or killed by juice leaks). And get a model that has blank standard resistance cartomizers available since most people prefer vaping their favorite juices with cartomizers. (if your Micro v2 is RN4081 then it does have standard resistance cartomizers available - you just have to find them. If it is actually Trio then try Boge 510 3 ohm cartomizers and you need liquid to fill cartomizers - I recommend thin liquids, mostly PG). And a warning - if you discover 510 cartos fit, NEVER charge a 510 in the Gamucci charger and vice versa because if it's 510-threaded then the Gamucci is probably L88b and if so its charger is reverse polarity.

At the same shop you can see some of the popular fat battery long charge models which also can optionally use the hotter low resistance atomizers and cartomizers (heat enhances nicotine's hit)

BTW UK section of the forum is here - when you have 5 new member posts/replies and an hour wait, then you can post elsewhere and PM. I think there are also is UK classified or vendor thread in the Buying & Selling section of ECF

Thanks all for your replies. It all sounds quite complicated with all the different types and models, but im sure I'll eventually get my head around it. Problem is I think I'm going to make a few more mistakes before I find the right solution (and consequently waste money!).

What's the best king sized e civ around at the moment, if I were to chop in the gamucci?

Do you think anyone would buy it if I didn't want it anymore?

PS And what do you all think of these PCC packs?

Any opinions on the Volcano??

By king size you mean 85mm long? Nothing. There is nothing good that long.

Smallest I recommend that you can easily get parts for:

At Liberty-Flights.co.uk Get Joye 510 MANUAL in black and the Boge 510 3 ohm cartomizers for your favorite thinner juices (hold more liquid, less likely to leak, perform more consistently than atomizer + cart, but have limited lives - I can get 7-10 days use out of one cartomizer).

With a cartomizer this will be 100mm long and 9.2mm diameter. With the manual batteries you can also use a 510 drip tip on the atomizer to test juices. The new atomizers will probably have some nasty tasting primer on them - * blow it out into a tissue, drip 3-4 drops eliquid on the atomizer bridge /\, vape mostly off without inhaling, repeat from *. Then reprime with liquid and try vaping.

Use the drip tip and atomizer & carts to try various juices then when you find a thin one you like (PG w/ 20% or less VG) make a cartomizer take 18 drops then however many it will readily soak in (hold tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt carto, drip down the inner wall), then clean it up, then lay it on different sides for 15-20 min and try that. Keep it damp with liquid and I can get 7-10 days use as a moderate vapor. Instead of the end cap you can put some plastic or delrin drip tips in instead as a mouthpiece that is easy to remove for adding juice. Carry a tissue with you (I hold on the threaded end hole when adding juice, with carto tilted. And I use a bit of tissue to clean it up)

Note - the white Joye 510 probably has an orange or red LED but it may be hard to find white or tan Boge cartomizers (like in the US, ONE vendor has them). The black 510 probably has a blue led and the black Boge cartos make it look like a clack cig. (I use black). And get a PCC, drip tip, spare charger cable for home (and one for work is good too) and eliquid.

And I super strongly recommend manual batteries. Easier to get a good hit. Safe from being damaged or killed by cartomizer leaks. Won't turn on accidentally from wind or vibration.

For at home - I don't know if Liberty-Flights has them but there is a Joye 510 mega xl battery that has 60-70% more charge but 128mm long with a cartomizer.

Label your Gamucci chargers so yoy don't accidentally try to charge a 510 in them.
