I really have no clue what I'm doing, so please assist.

I started vaping 6 days ago and I also quitted smoking 30-40 per day and I haven't touched a cigarette since I started vaping. I'm just mad I didn't find this years ago.

Anyways, I've ordered a Vaporshark DNA40. I wanted the rDNA40, but it was nowhere to be found.

I've ordered the Triton, but I don't know how to find the things you suck on; I think they are called drip tips? Diameter is 510 I've found out, but can't I find these "drip tips" on the aspire site? I only find drip tips for the Atlantis range and I believe this to be a different diameter?

Why is it called drip tips? Aren't you pouring the juice into the cartridge?

I want to order more "drip tips" so that my friends can try to vape a little. Then I can give them a drip tip and they can suck on it.

I've found many 510 drip tips elsewhere, but as I order from Norway, I don't want to order from somewhere else right now.

So, basically, the question is; does the drip tips for the Atlantis fit the Triton?

Hello and welcome to the forum @madorian. Glad to have you here!:)

Yes, the original Atlantis drip (not the version 2) will work. The Atlantis drip tip is a wide bore drip tip (suitable for lung hits). If you want something (510 threaded) that is more suitable for M2L (mouth-2-lung) inhaling consider ordering a non-wide bore drip tip (a Nautilus if they sell one).

If you are looking to pick up many drip tips consider ordering from Fasttech.

* Stainless Steel Drip Tips (not made by Aspire)

Hi @madorian and welcome to ECF!

You can also get drip tip covers for "regular size" drip tips (the non-widebore kind) so that your friends can try vaping. you just put the cover on your drip tip. They're pretty inexpensive - here's a link:
Silicone Disposable Drip Tip Cap Cover Tester Mouthpiece for E-Cigarettes (50-Pack)

Hope it helps and Happy Vaping!

Hi and welcome to the board. I can't help with your question because I don't have that tank. I can say you're in good hands with the people who are working with you on it. And drip-tip covers, as has been suggested, work really well. I was using one just today, trying new juice flavors at the store.

Yeah, I just need more drip tips, so that my friends can try;)

I think I know exactly what you're looking for!

A drip tip condom!

These are available on a load of different sites (some of which may be local to you). They're little disposable covers you can throw on a drip tip so that you don't have to risk distributing your infectious diseases amongst your circle of friends.

Additionally, drip tip size is pretty much universal these days. If it's a "510 drip tip" it will, unless the tank is built weird, fit in your tank.

And to explain the history on the terminology.. Originally, back in the carto days, you'd drip straight down the mouthpiece (most people would, at least). This led to the title "drip tip" and it's still the term accepted today even though nowadays most people remove their top cap to drip through. Some people still drip straight through the drip tip, but many people prefer to check on their wicks/coils before dripping.

Hope that helps.

Dripping juice in the drip tip of the triton will be a horrible experience.

ok, this is what I get for being a newbie.

I got the Triton, but damn, I should have ordered the Kanthal atomizer:

Aspire Triton Replacement Atomizer-1.8ohm 5pcs (Kanthal) [8331发热丝] - $21.00 : Aspire online shopping

I didn't know there was a difference, but it seems this is more suited to mouth to lung type of hits, like I'm used to, coming from tobacco.

I ordered Virginia Prime from House of Liquid and I'm not even sure I'm gonna put it in there, cause everything I've tried in this tank is too strong, probably because subohming is not for me. Atleast, that's my current theory.

I also expect this liquid to fsck up this Kanthal atmonizer quickly.

Also, that drip tip that came with it, was huge, to the point of wtf.

"We're guys and don't like to stick big things in our mouths"

I also feel there's too much air in this tank, but that's probably because I didn't order the Kanthal. I did try to adjust the air intake.

So, now I got to order small drip tips from somewhere and a Kanthal atomizer.

So, best of luck to me.
