Hello all,

I have a an addiction to e cigs not just buying them lol but smoking them too. I constantly have to have it in my mouth and I am constantly hitting the fire button. My mom calls it my pacifier, and my ex husband said I was vaping myself ......ed. I have never gotten nic-sick so I wonder if I just have built a high tolerance to the nicotine since I constantly have my mod setup in my mouth and I am hitting fire! Any suggestions, judgments, chastising or other advice are greatly appreciated!

I enjoy vaping too. It seems I always have my apv in my hand and am vaping as well. Fortunately no one is around to tell me about it. It wouldn't do them any good :). Strangely enough I can put it down and leave it if I get busy and not even think about vaping until I'm through with whatever task I was doing. To me I don't find it strange as long as you're not getting nic sick.

You are not smoking an e-cig. You are vaping. It seems that you enjoy vaping so I do not see what the problem is? I would not worry to much about what an ex-husband says. Especially if he speaks to you in such a demeaning way. Probably why he is the EX husband. :)

I chain vape all day every day. I go through a good 12ml a day. No one around me cares since I used to be a PAD+ smoker and would take smoke breaks every hour.

If they ever told me I couldn't vape at work (which I'm doing as I type this), I'm sure I could last the several hours between breaks to vape, but I just love it so much I'm glad I don't have to worry about that.

Well he was an alcoholic a hole, and that is why I left him! So your right his demeaning ways and how he treated me are reasons why he is an ex and no longer my husband and he just don't get it and still thinks even after our divorce that I am going to come back home to him and we are going to start all over...psh yeah right like that will ever happen!

No problem!!! :) We just try to differentiate the two in an effort to get away from being clumped together with smokers.

Good for you on getting rid of the loser EX! I have said this a few times here on the forum but it is worth repeating in this situation...

I would have to respect some one in order to give a rats behind about what they think of me or of what I do. So consider that when people say negative things to you about vaping :)

This is not difficult to understand. It's just so easy to over indulge because we can vape more places than when we smoked. Plus, it tastes good. I once dripped zero nic juice for 4 hours and didn't even know it. :D My point being, if it bothers you then just try switching to that when you're feeling needlessly guilty.

And you know, when you're around somebody and they criticize you for it, I've found they don't know how to respond when you tell them there's no nicotine in what you're "smoking". It's rather funny. :D

I'm VERY addicted to it too. I have the luck to recover my body overnight and when I have to get up in the morning to go to work I usually get up too late to vape like crazy. That does give me a brake from it, although when I have 1 or 2 days off I vape all day long. I'm even looking for new e-liquids instead of doing my homework, lol. But hey; at least we're staying off the old cigs. ;)
