I just started vaping and Threw away all my ashtrays...reading a lot of this forum and joining casaa etc. (did the survey ) This FDA ruling in October is freaking me out! Banning ecigs is just ugh! Banning online sales. Why oh why is this happening! I finally found something besides gum and patches to get me to NOT buy analoqs. Wait did I just answer my own question... The real tobacco guys are behind this..
Stockpiling is an option but to what end?
My friends and family are so happy for me I don't want to let them down.. And seriously I don't crave analogs at all but if ecigs and liquid were to be Unavailable to me...well I just might...panic.

I don't live to far away from you, work in a shop, build mods and mix juice. If it comes to that, I've got you covered.:vapor:

Obamacare will surcharge the use use of eCigs as though they were analogs which is around 50%. Some members said that it was all about the money. I believe that it is all about imposing the ideas of a few elitists on the entire population. Since Obama and his cronies assumed power, this is nothing new.Our government will probably impose a wicked tax on e juice as well.

Honestly, the only thing I have any slight worry about with regulation is the e-juice/nicotine. Everything else is still going to be available, maybe not pre-assembled, but it's not terribly hard to make a mechanical mod or even a decent regulated box mod from parts readily available for $15-$20. Will it look like a Provari, SVD, K100? No. Will it work? Absolutely. At that point it's just a matter of getting ahold of a few RBAs in pyrex glass, or even blowing/tooling your own (obviously finding someone to do it is an option), and then you're pretty much home-free if you have access to stored bottles of nicotine. I'm personally going to buy a half liter or so of 100mg nic in the coming weeks, just because I DIY heavily, so even if there is no regulation with the upcoming vote, it won't go to waste any time soon.

I see that - I will have to school myself on coils batteries etc what is safe ohms amps watts etc... Which I know NOTHING about. There should be a YouTube video on all this mod stuff.. (prolly hundreds ;)...)
One more question is there a shelf life on nicotine? Does it go "bad" just wondering

Most say pre-mixed juice lasts about a year, I've heard of people vaping stuff that's two years old, but the longest I've gone is about ten months on juice I've received in trades that had already been sitting a good while before I got it. Nicotine base can be refrigerated/frozen and should keep for five to ten, hence why people stockpile several large bottles in a minifridge.

Don't sweat it jazzelwood. There will likely be time to prepare if that's what it comes to.

In the meantime learn what you can about vaping. Start making your own juice, learn about batteries and perhaps explore the world of RBA's and mechanical PV's. Self reliance is a great. I have done those things and am also a CASAA member. The website is here. These guys are the only organization I know of that is on our side in all of this. Joining is free, but is important. The higher our numbers are the more influence we have. Donations are accepted too.

Done and done.. Just read the history of ecigs on casaa.org and saw all the countries that banned them just willy nilly with no research. What I find funny is that china invented the ecigs and the FDA used to block the shipments here. But I can buy something from China on ebay for $.99 but buying the same item made in the US is $15 ...

oh and I bought TRITIUM fobs and lights (Google it and it would look cool on MODS) from the CHINA but can't from the US
Ok now I'm just rambling...

jazzelwood welcome,
