So I need to set up a new cartmizer but no matter how much I try I can't get the juice to the bottom and it is starting to taste all burnt new but burnt. I moved the filler away from the side a bit the let the juice go deeper. I blew it out and everything trying to get the juice (50/50) where it needs to go. Should I try another new one and throw this one away? I don't want to make this mistake on 100 cartmizers so any help I'm nicing badd here...

What type of carto? If it tastes burnt chuck it. Fill slow and allow a few minutes for the juice to soak in. If you can not wait and have a sryinge you can fill sryinge w/juice, drive needle to bottom of carto, inject juice as you slowly pull out needle. Subsequent top off can be done right on wadding since it will already be pre moistened.

It's the one piece type (don't know whey you all call them) the atomizer is in the unit. I filled it last night (been nursing an older one) tried the new one this morn , added 3 more drops and waited been doing that off and on most the day fill wait try, fill wait try, fill try. Not getting better, getting worse. I'm glad I try to keep 2 running but I need to stagger them a few day as the one I'm nursing has about had it too. PG is not working . I'm going to throw this one out and fill a new one half 50/50 mix and half pg So 75/25 wait till morn and try try again.

How are you filling it? I just hold the cartomizer at an angle and slowly drip the juice in. There are lots of techniques, but I put some juice in, pop the cap on and shake it like a thermometer. Check it again and add a few more drops. There's no need to blow out a cartomizer or move the filler around. If that's what your talking about- a cartomizer. If it looks slushy on top and you get juice in your mouth- you put too much in. Dab the top with a q-tip.

Are you mixing your own juices?

It sounds like that one has the stuffing packed too right or something? Or maybe your 50/50 is very thick.

Dumb thought but only because I did this today - are you sure there isn't an inner seal over the stuffing? I put juice in my first SLB carto today and I was like WTF it's not soaking in! Why is the juice sitting above the stuffing and not soaking in! Then after I sucked the juice out with a dropper I saw the donut shaped seal on the top of the stuffing. So I had to pop that out then fill it...

And if you ever get a KR8 carto that draws hard, try gently and evenly lifting the inner circle of the threaded end.

As soon as you burn a cartomizer it's pretty useless. The filling by the wick melts and incidentally doesn't hold much liquid around the wick.

The main reason I switched to CE2's-- no poly to risk smoking.

Yea I get that now, wanting to try the FLüXomizer that looks better then what I have now. Maybe you can tell me more about this Ce2 you speak of?

Hiya dormouse I smile every time I see your avi:D you're so helpful, TY. The cartomizers I bought (yeti) do not have a inner ring. I think Jimi Hendrix is correct I ruined the thing melted it at the heating element. I'll get use to this, I love vaping today is just an off sort kinda day. Lessons learned step by step. (Ha I'm adding that that my siggie...)

Thanks! It was a from an animated movie (Alice in Wonderland - the dormouse) and I photoshopped the wand or baton into an ecig.

CE2 has gone through several revisions. CE2 r5 are the Clearomizer/Fluxomizers and there are metal ones too. Buy the syringe meant for filling them though some people have better luck with a small sharp syringe. I have not tried the clear ones. They could use some improvements on the clear tube from what I've heard. The top can crack, and one person had one disassemble (the bottom came out when he screwed it on the battery). The metal ones are sturdier but if you ever take the inner seal out of those it is even more difficult to get it back in because you can't see through the side to position the seal.

Ha I'm daft after looking up ce2 I now realize Jimi Hendrix and I where speaking of the same product. Maybe I'll try to say hi in the PIF (I is shy) forum? Have one Forwarded to me see if I like it. I have 25 + of these cartomizer sitting here and a juice I don't like. I must say you all here in the ECF rock hard! Advice duly noted dormouse...

Adrena, CE2R4 is the real name. Fluxomizer and all the other names are guys that paid the manufacturer to put his label on it. Its important to try to find the sources of products out there, so you can find a good price. Instead of letting someone change the name on a product and over-charge you.

GotVapes claims to have had them make changes like using a different solder and other stuff and says their are R5. They do list the changes. Since I know another vendor was involved in the beta testing and suggesting earlier revisions, I am inclined to believe GotVapes. They could be lying but at the very least they have the same product since the clear ones did not exist before late R4. I got early R4 bare metal ones with no condoms back when another vendor was testing them and had decided the R4's were good enough to sell, about 3 months ago.

I'm pretty frustrated with my cartos as well. Just not satisfied! I did buy some fluxomizers from GotVapes & am really really pleased with them. They're not perfect, the tubes do seem to crack eventually, but they also sell clear replacement tubes pretty cheap. I might try the stainless steel they're also selling, but it's fun to be able to see your juice. So comparitively with the cartos which I'm dripping into constantly without satisfying results, I just fill the fluxomizers (come in regular .8ml & XL 1.8ml I think) & vape till I need to fill again. I love them. But it currenly seems they are sold out, I hope they restock soon!!
I have all these cartos I have to vape up or I'll feel wastefull. I think I'll be going exclusively with fluxomizers in the future.
Also I bought some swedish snus for those high nic fit moments. Don't like the taste or the smell of the snus (am I spelling that right?) but yes, after 10-20 minutes I wasn't having the nic fit anymore, it really worked. I don't think I'll continue with snus in the future, but who knows.
Good luck Adrena!!
