Now I want to try to find some replacement coils from kanger that match exactly the one I have. It looks like with all the different versions out there and from reading some other threads, it might be hard to find identical replacements.
Your fire buttonswitch maybe bad. Your mod board maybe bad. Your 510 on your coil may not be in good enough contact with the 510 on the mod. Make sure the 510 pins are properly seated together. Your coil maybe shorted. The coil can get distorted when you screw it in and cause shorting.
I'm thinking the coil was really more like 0.4 ohms, the mod had locked the resistance in as 0.5 ohms, so when you fire the button, if the mod sees the coil having lower resistance it refused to fire.
