rx200 3.00 tc 316l ss temp protection problem! cant vape.

first and foremost, does firmware 3.00 support ss 316L?

heres my delima.

i rebuilt a atlantis coil to be 0.4ohm on a 26gauge 316L wire.

i wicked it and it seems to be ok on 40-45 watts. lots of flavour and vapor.

i wanted to try temp control.

so. i swtiched the unit to temp control ss.
i started low at 100C.
the moment i hti the fire button like 1-2 seconds it shows temp protection!
i slowly started going up and reached 150C.
still same issue ... it throws me into temp protection and it gives no vape what-so-ever!

so i went and set TCR M1 to 88....
repeated steps above with same results.

i decided to go higher to 200C.
it literally was like putting fire in your mouth ... but yes it did fire for a second or two ....


this is firmware 3.00.

what could be wrong?

i am now stuck vaping in wattage. at 45. oh well.

((ISSUE RESOLVED:
ok fixed it.
i changed the ramp up power by doing four button presses. changed it to what was good at wattage.
set ramp up power to 40watts. then set it to 250C and all is great!))

So why not just run it in power mode?

tc is more efficient and can be somewhat nicer on battery life. at least thats what i hear.
