Help!, Is this normal?!

I finnaly got my 901 from RuyanDirect today, and when I put the battery in for charging, it looks like its charging well for about an hour with the Charger LED staying steady orange... then after that hour, the LED (charger) constantly flips from green to orange... doesn't seem like it's blinking in a pattern, but it flips at about 2-3 times per second... Is this normal?!

Also, I can hear sort of.. like faint cricket noises coming from the charger when it does this...

Thanks very much,

tried to search for 'blinking charger', but no go

Hmm maybe the connection is bad.
When I got my charger for my 510, when I screw the batter all the way, it stays green adn doesn't charge, even if the battery is completely dead.
I then started tightening it in all the way, then just unscrewing it like 1/2 a turn, and then it started charging, adn its been working consistently since.
It doesn't sound normal, your charger just might be messed up, is it charging your batts at all though?

I apologize if this sounds too simplistic (but it happened to me). You do know that the battery has to be screwed into the charger, right?

I only ask, because the very first time I tried to charge my battery, I just sort of popped it in the charger, and it acted as if it were trying to charge, when it really wasn't (intermittent lights). Then I found out that it actually screws in, and that solved the problem.

Unplug it before you stick the tp in, lol! Mine do that sometimes at the end of their charge, but not forever--and there's no noise. It blinks a few times, then turns green, or sometimes it goes red, orange, then green. Try a different battery. Sometimes Wayne sends them pre-charged too, so try using that battery up and starting over.

thats funny, my m401 also does that. put the battery on the charger, and about 2 hours later it starts to blink probably once a second. then 3-4 hours it would blink from green to red in a milisecond like in about every couple seconds. i think its normal, thinking the lipo "lithium polymer" charger trickle charges the battery, shooting it around 4 volts then stopping thus light turns red to check what voltage it is at then comes on again to shoot it again with 4x volts etc. my guess :)
