I can't stop ordering stuff! Got new iSticks coming (30 and 50), a couple of Kanger subtank minis, another Kanger tank, some drip tips, juices of all flavors and strengths (figured I'd step down a few notches for the subtanks). I feel out of control! But I haven't had a cig, and I'm finding the smell of them on other people quite repulsive. And my dog doesn't sneeze anymore when he comes into the one room I used to smoke in. I want some wraps for the batteries, I want lanyards to hang them around my neck, I want a display stand for all my stuff. Does this ever stop?

Nope, sounds perfectly normal to me! You will slow down after you have that vape you can't put down. Until you start looking at REOs and higher end mods. I haven't bought anything new in over a month so I decided its time. Ordered an istick 30 watt, Segelei zMax, and the mini Ego ONE as a stealth vape. Super stoked to start collecting gear again.

WELL in aword no,it doesn't stop.some say when you find perfect vape it does ,but lemme tell you,,the buying slows but doesn't stop. I see you just joined, dont know how long you've been at this but even with the 'perfect' vape,it then becomes a 'hey, lets try this or that'.some may be able to stay with an ego twist, but I and a whole lot cant. good luck and stay off cigs!

Now I was the opposite. I was spending very little until I found my perfect vape...the Rose v2. Then I went on a quest to find every other RTA as good as that  Its gotten expensive these past 5 months! And of course great new mods keep coming out. But, I have so many RTAs that I don't sell my old mods, no, I just keep adding new ones!

Yeah, but enjoy the buying while it lasts! I think acquiring all sorts of crap is part of the stop smoking passage. I went through a year of buying a bucket load of stuff "just because." Eventually I paired it back to just 4 mods (2 for the desk, 2 for on the go) and 8 atties, but I only use the same kind of atty most of the time. At this point I'm just buying back ups of what I own but the appeal of new equipment still lurks, I've just said no, I have what I need. Now I like playing with DIY juice.

It goes away in 4 or 5 years. Unfortunately by then you will be living under an overpass in a box and wearing Fasttech envelopes for shoes. Upside is that I meet some really unusual people there.

That is most definitely the cure, that is the nature of addiction. You replace one thing with one or many more
I am currently on an herbal e-liquid binge, I don't get high but I vape some funny smelling stuff and don't smoke or vape nicotine :)

    No you can't
Does it ever stop? No, not really. If you're lucky it will slow down, but it won't stop.

I see you've joined ECF 2014 most likely when you turned to Ecigs. Though juice stayed about the same devices, tanks, wicks what the hell everything exploded and we have all sorts of cool stuff now and new devices weekly. I feel sorry for all you newer people the toy store is open bring MORE money. It wasn't that far back we all were happy with the Vamo V2 and a Vivi Nova we just thought things couldn't get much sweeter, things sure have changed in a few years.

I let you in on my secret I don't bring more money then I'm willing to spend or ANY credit cards when visiting the local Vape shops and buy as much and only what I want to spend online.

Pretty close, actually I tried Blu's then V2's when my sister-in-law had to quit smoking 2 years ago but that didn't cut it for me so I was back to smoking. While Christmas shopping this past December as I came out of a pawn shop (pawn shops are a great place to shop for jewelry) I saw a vape shop next door. Talked to the girl working there and got started with an eGo Twist and iClear 16. That lasted all of a week before I was looking for something better.... Haven't had a cig since then but picked up 3 Nautilus' (1 standard and 2 mini) an MVP and now a VS rDNA40. I think I'm done for a while, but every time I go to get juice I hear those RDA's calling my name...

I've got shinyitis too, here's the proof:
