Hello all!

First time poster here, looking for some advice from more experienced vapers.

I've been vaping for about two months now and have been analog-free and feeling great. I've been using the Kanger T3S and have been pretty happy with it until I washed it with hot tap water today and it fogged up. I read in quite a few places that acidic liquids would cause plastic tanks to fog up too, which apparently the T3S is.

So, I've been looking for my next tank which I would prefer to be glass/pyrex or something that doesn't deteriorate from acidic liquids. But it seems most are dual coil while I would really prefer single coil for 2 reasons - it uses less battery, and less liquid.

So, can anyone recommend a single coil glass tank that doesn't really leak or have any other major inherent issues?

Big thanks in advance!
T.

Thanks for the advice all!

I'm all the way across the pond and not all of the above are available. I did find Protank 3 V2, the Nautilus and the Triton.

Seems like the Protank is what I was looking for though - cheaper, glass, and uses the same heads. But I'm keeping a note on the others and I might move up to those one day when I get fed up with the Protank.

Just one question on the Protank though - the heads they advertise for it are dual coil, e.g. same that fit the T3D. Can I assume that the single coil T3S heads would are just the same and would fit anything that works with T3D coils?

Regards,
T.

Oh okey gotcha. They have Protank 2's as well - might try those too. I found some threads that seem to suggest it would work on Protank 3 too but with some adjustments. Either way though there seems to be little difference between the two.

Last but not least - thank you for the offer Foggy Road! No need though I will get it sorted :)

Regards!

Hi and welcome. Sorry about your tank. Juices that fog, etch or crack polycarbonate can also react to acrylic. It's something to keep in mind when choosing all of your gear. My favorite vape is one of the most aggressive I have come across. Not only has it taken down tanks, it's melted cart-tank end caps, acrylic drip tips and even a TruStone resin drip tip. It also removed the acrylic based paint in the juice cup of my Reo. Granted, my juice is extreme (and it's all I vape, so my gear encounters it all the time), but potential trouble is worth being aware of.

My goodness, what is it that you vape? If you DIY, no need for a recipe, just the flavor of the juice cracker one.

Please don't take this the wrong way @Toma S. but you are asking us about tanks which have long since died in the swamp of dinosaur extinction.
You really don't want to be buying stuff like this.
Regardless of my vape snob attitude (or whatever it is) but Silica wick coil heads aren't even safe enough these days in comparison to the latest stuff.
PT2 was a dreadful tank. We only saved it from the trash by buying the aftermarket AFC (airflow controller). It was dry-hit city with stock coils and no airflow base.
Triton? yes... OK, but what are you attaching these tanks too? A good mod or a basic pen battery.
Please don't buy 'old tech' Kanger stuff... we have we all gone through 3,4,5 (?) years of pain so people like your good self don't have to.
Trust us. Don't trust websites looking to off-load old kit.

RH Candy Cane from Vixen Vapors 3x flavor, medium menthol added. I know it has cinnamon and wintergreen in it, but I'm not sure what else. It was the second flavor I ever tried and I just kept coming back to it. I finally stopped buying other juice since I so rarely liked them. I would rather vape unflavored.

It was due to my juice that I got into dripping and using glass so early. Baditude turned me on to the IBTanked glass carto tanks, which thrilled me, until the end caps died. They were so pretty too :grr: That's why IBTanked stopped carrying acrylic caps.

I understand your point, but there is old gear I like. My daily driver is an RTA, but I love my 306 attys and I'm looking for another Protank V1.

Wow. That is some strong flavorings. I use a diluted down cinnamon in a cinn a type pear diy mix I make and so far I have been ok, nothing has cracked on me. But like you I heeded the glass vs plastic early on also.

:)

:)

I got a bottle of the juice in regular strength, with no added menthol or nicotine, to see if I can figure out what all the flavor notes are. It's on my to do list.
