There is all kinds of tanks you could buy that are rebuildable. I started 3 and some years ago with protank 1 and 2's, rebuilding the heads, they are super easy, plenty if videos on how to do it and you will learn enough to expand your horizons into other tanks. My opinion on another super easy tank to start your building career is the subtank mini with the RBA, they too are super easy to learn to build on and have a lot more variety of builds you can put in them compared to the protanks. Healthcabin has the Subtank kits but they are white for 7 bucks and that includes the RBA but normal price for subtank kits are over 25 bucks. Plenty of other drippers and tanks on sale too Make a account and get 5 bucks off, first order another 5 bucks off and then 20% off the entire order. Well worth looking into to get started but wait a couple weeks for delivery cause it comes from overseas. I say I scored buying a couple mods and several subtank kits cause the RBA alone is priced over 7 bucks at most vendors.

Please don't take this the wrong way @Toma S. but you are asking us about tanks which have long since died in the swamp of dinosaur extinction.
You really don't want to be buying stuff like this.
Regardless of my vape snob attitude (or whatever it is) but Silica wick coil heads aren't even safe enough these days in comparison to the latest stuff.
PT2 was a dreadful tank. We only saved it from the trash by buying the aftermarket AFC (airflow controller). It was dry-hit city with stock coils and no airflow base.
Triton? yes... OK, but what are you attaching these tanks too? A good mod or a basic pen battery.
Please don't buy 'old tech' Kanger stuff... we have we all gone through 3,4,5 (?) years of pain so people like your good self don't have to.
Trust us. Don't trust websites looking to off-load old kit.

No worries I get it - I know I have little idea what I'm asking since I really just started looking into all the alternatives out there. What I'm using is Eleaf Twist Mega 1700mah pen style battery - it has variable voltage knob so that helps somewhat but apart from that no other fancy features. In either case though, new or old cartos - I need it to be single coil.

Thanks!

Carto's...wow. Tank systems is a big jump compared to cartos. Research the price of coils before you buy a tank, some tanks can have the atomizers up to 5 bucks each. Look to see if that tank has a RBA option if your looking to rebuild for both vape quality and savings. Lots of good tanks out there and researching the buy is part of it. Protanks, T3's is all old school gear that went out to pasture long ago but many of us learned so much using those attys. Avoid internal batteries, you end up with a perfectly running hitter thats useless cause the battery crapped out, so getting an external battery hitter, some quality batts and a charger is a good investment looking at the bigger picture. Any tank or atomizer will do but no power to it and it like having a ciggy without a light.
