You have been vaping for a year now, it's time to learn how to wrap your own coils. Get a kayfun.
Is KayFun one word or two words :?:

Kayfun is two words, it's also spelled as the Russian :D Kayfun/Russian .

Possibly the best single coil tanked rba system out would be the Flash-e-Vapor V2 or V3. Tis a dripper with a tank on board. Remains to be one of me faves.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

I am looking into going back to single coils now, but not sure what to get..

I want them to be easy to rebuild (in case I decide to start rebuilding them) and I want it to perform great, plus, I'd prefer if it was not something expensive.

So which new tanks use single coils that are fairly easy to rebuild and provide good vape?

I just need to say that I'm disappointed that when a vaper asks the above question in the new members forum, they get pushed into RBA's, which wasn't at all what they were asking for. Nice way to make a vaper feel inferior when that may not be what works for them.

Imo getting into rebuildables means an increase in size and juice consumption. Drippers aren't practical. Changing batteries of 18350s were too much in real life.

Portable pocket set up lve been enjoying lately is Istick and aerotank2. If you want to stay with single coils I think the best you can do is the Protank2 with AFC control ring. The AFC solves all of Pt2s issues. An alternate would be going with a Davide tank.

The nautilus line and BVC heads are fantastic. I still opt for the Aerotank2 because it's lighter weight and sleeker. I used to use Evods and T3s.

I would say go with the Aerotank mini. Yes, they're dual coil, but you can buy the V1 coils with the little silicone cap that are very easy to rebuild as single coil. I do mine 28g kanthal 8 wrap micro, comes to 1.5u for a PT3 mini. Nice vape with no leaks or gurgle. I plan to get an Aerotank mini for AFC. The Genitank mini is reasonably priced but is chrome plated copper, a deal breaker for me.

Hmm, well am disappointed that you are disappointed. But do find many questions asked in the new member section. are from not entirely new vapers. So an rba will likely come up in the thread, mainly because that's what many vapers main experience is with vape. Last changeable atty I had was a pt2, sorry, but from my experience, can hardly recommend a pt anyting, and can only give guidance of worth with gear directly familiar with.

Really don't think making one to feel inferior has anything to do with it at all. And pushing one onto the path of an rba is never the intent but more of an option being provided.

My thing is, if someone mentions building, to not waste building skills on a changeable, if one wants to build, tis best done on an rba.

What I find more disappointing, besides your oh so disappointment with rba advice, is you never gave the op any advice at all and only here to say bad on me, or something like that.

well maybe disappointment is to strong, tis like really??? so what's the point. of the post???

I was only here looking for suggestions being thrown out, as I tend to prefer clearo tanks at this point. I have drippers, genesis etc. But since I have no cartos at the moment it is either clearo or Marlboro.
That being said, the first response was if I wasn't using a mech and wrapping my own coils I wasn't vaping.
I think that is where the disappointment comes in.

My mistake, it was the second post :(

Ok. Didn't really want to revive this thread but I tried rebuilding the new dual coils into a single vertical coil (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ed-kanger-dual-coil-single-vertical-coil.html), but after 4 tries with cotton, I gave up and started researching again.

After a week of looking at VV/VW mods (don't want to go mech mod at the moment) and RTAs, I just bought an itaste svd from .......... and a keyfun lite plus from fasttech (SKU 1605200).

Will make a new thread if I need help on that as it won't be related to this one :D

Would love to find a single coil RDA (2post) with posts on the sides. I prefer symmetry. I don't need airflow options. Just something simple. Guess I could drip the lemo without the tank on...

To drip on the lemo, you can just leave out the fog chamber and the chimney tube (center tube) when you assemble it.
