First off, hello to everyone as it is obvious, I'm new to the forum. Although, I'm quite the veteran when it comes to forum manners, and usage. I would like to keep my personal information brief, as to why I previously used the E-Cig, went back to smoking, and am now looking to go back to vaping once more. It all revolves around my love life, and I'm sure to most, that's all that needs to be said.

Now on to the topic at hand. I vaped for about a year with the old Vapor X(identical to the ProVape), and well, was very happy with it's performance. Loved the draws it pulled etc, but now the Vapor X looks like this new version, and am considering getting a whole new set up. I'm definately overwhelmed in the decision, and being that ECigs save so much more money than they cost, I would still like to make the best decision possible as the initial purchase is not cheap regardless.

I'm looking for advice for the best Ecig to buy, one that performs(big draws), low maintenance, and has been around for a while(no worry of discontinuation). An acquaintance of mine who's a huge Ecig enthusiast swears by Reo mods. I checked them out and they look to be a little high maintenance, the Vapor X XLT looks really nice as the cartridge looks to have a reservoir waving the need to constantly put "drops" in a drip tip but I can't find any reviews on the Ecig version as opposed to the "herbal" version(I'm looking for a nicotine vapor based device). I've heard alot of good things about the Ego. Should I look past any of these to another I haven't seen yet? Any input and advice will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you for reading this, and your time, in advance to whoever responds.

Hi Steve, and welcome back to the wonderful world of e-cigs! :D

I looked at the Vapor-X you mentioned, and it appears to be a customized eGo setup with a CE4 style clearomizer. Not a bad setup, but you can probably do better for the amount they're charging. Here's is my personal recommendation for a "starter" setup:

2 eGo-Twist batteries (900 or 1000 mAh)
1 Kanger T2 Clearomizer + 1 extra heads
1 Kanger T3 Clearomizer + 1 extra heads
1 420mA eGo charger
1 USB wall plug adapter
1 standard eGo case

All of this will run you about $75 to $85 depending on the size of the Twist batteries and where you get them.

Hope this helps.

The Ego twist has had a lot of great reviews. For the price, I cant see getting any other as the regular Egos vape realy low volts. I have seen a lot of posts on them breaking if dropped, but for the price, that may be acceptable.

I myself vape the Echo. Higher volt vape than the Ego, same look and automatic. They are KR808d1 so all the 510 common stuff won't fit, but they have not changed in 2 years, and seem to be sticking around. Check "The Echo Thread" here on ECF if you are interested.

For cig style, the new E Roll seems quite popular around here.
