Can the TRA be clear coated? Or otherwise protected somehow?

There's really no reason to clear coat, but can be done. You could also get a Jwrap for it. They make them in different colors, clear, or designs on them....

^^^^^^ Ditto that. No way I'd put anything on my TRA as it doesn't need clear coat protection, and I don't like wraps or anything that would give up the "feel" of a TRA.

Agreed the TRA has such a great feel it would be a shame to cover it and there is no need to protect it.

lots of old threads, videos etc later and I am 90% it will be a TRA SL/LP for the feel with a nuppin attie

feel is important to me. i wear really ugly glasses for the fit and feel over looks and i think i should follow the same logic

second in line would be kawa green just b/c midlife crises and a bit of wild are kinda fun

I have a raw aluminum and a kawa green; the alum is my all day everyday device, and the kawa is my "show piece," for now. Grabs a lot of attention stand it sure is purdy

i wound up ordering a sl/lp orange after all that, as SS said for a show piece

If it's show you want, you chose well. The orange really pops. It and the kawa green are my fave solid colours - very strident.

I love my Kawasaki green, it's definitely an attention getter!
