I just got a Provari V2.5 two weeks ago and I love it! I didn't want a big mod battery for the longest but now that I took the plunge, it was well worth it. Me and the husband both got one and they are tough, sturdy and the batteries last about a day and a half with the extender cap (18650 battery). We both tend to chain vape a lot so if you are a more moderate vaper then they will probably last you even longer even with the smaller 18490 battery. I like it and they work just fine with Vivi Novas, both regular size and minis. The regular is actually the exact same width around as the Provari.

Normally the Vision Spinners or Ego Twists are pretty good but like you found out, the QC may not be the best. After 3 months of using the smaller self-contained style batteries I decided to go with a Provari v2 clearance/blem. It's more 'cigar' sized then the Ego's or 'ciga-likes'. Since price is not a concern I would go with the Provari v2. There are other good 'mods/pv's' like Vamo or Lavatube but I've only read great reviews of the Provari and love mine. My purchase list below:

1 Provari v2 black clearance/blem... USA made & very hi-tech
2 18490 batteries
1 Teneroy charger
5 pack 3 ohm cartomizers
2 Vision brand vivi nova's (from other venders)
2 drip tips of my color & style

All of the above use '510' threading which is the most common. Best of luck & a big welcome!

Personally I like the Vision spinners and have had no problems with them and also like the Vivi Nova tanks....not real fond of the mini vivis though. If you want to step up to something bigger without dropping a couple hundred bucks on a Provari you may want to take a look at a VAMO......most dealers online carry them and they are under $50...if you don't mind waiting 2-3 weeks Ocean Vapor(China) has them for $40 and throws in the batteries, a charger, and a couple Vivi Novas!!!
