Recently started vaping and have a Blu Cig that I received earlier this week. I like the taste, the size and the Blu Pack, but I am switching from analogs where I smoked about 1 pack a day. Winston Lights to be exact.
I NEED the throat hit and chest hit EVERY puff I take and I am not getting that on the Blu. A new cart will do it for me about 4-5 puffs then lighten up until I literally get no hit at all. I take the little piece of foil off the end of the atty and drag slowly and it just doesn't do it.
Is there an E Cig out there that will give me the hits I want EVERY puff I take or can I do something with my Blu to get it that way? Price doesn't matter, but my enjoyment does. I've heard about a Lucy and the Joye...are they any better. I really don't care about the size, weight, look so much as I do the hits. Please Help!

I just switched and I followed the advice of a friend to get the joye 510 from cignot.. and let me tell you... they rock.. I was looking for the same thing that you just spoke about..."the throat hit" and I am really happy with this. I didn't try the blue but I just wanted to share my experience with you ... I don't know if still going on but I know they are on sale at cloudsofvapor for 20 bucks this weekend I think it is wothed a try. I know they have other models with 5 and 6 volts but I also was advised that is not cool for beginners. End of the story...I am VERY happy with my 510.. btw the customer service at clouds of vapor is really good and the cignot ships really fast. I ordered on saturday and got it on tuesday..

I hope this helps...

Keep vaping...

Get a Ego from cignot.com its a 510 on steroids. The blue is a nice little cig for occasional smokers, not really for hardcore.
Next step up from Ego is a mod. Many people on here make them, I hear that it takes a while to get one though. I really dont know all that much about mods.
The Ego gets the job done.

Agreed. An eGo or a Tornado hits pretty hard. Get a kit with two batteries and you wont need a pcc to get through the day.

Pair that with an Low Resistance atomizer and drip for even crazier vapor.

Well, this is not a 510, but I like the ecigs from Vapor4Life-Because it's your life - E-Cigarettes/Smoking Alternatives. They use ecigs that look like blu's but they have been modified to perform much better. They use cartomizers that have the atomizer and the cartridge combined for easy use. I was thinking about a blu, tried one and found that the hit was just not very satisfying. Take a look at the site and form your own opinion. I haven't used anything else! I've been very satisfied! Also, take a look at their sub-forum here: Vapor4Life - E-Cigarette Forum

I use value4 life cartomizers on my ego too with a small adaptor, Kicks like a mule LOL
No filling the carto all day, they hold a lot with the combined long battery life on the ego
it is a great system. Plus can use the 510 addy with a carto if I want to.
you can get the 510 to kr808 cartomizer adaptor at Good Prophets, com and other places for a couple of dollars.
One more thought, Joye is warning of knock off egos being sold. I know the ones are Cignot are real Joye. There is a difference, Keep it in mind if you look for one,

No I am in no way affiliated with anyone I have mentioned ! Just a happy customer.
Any of the dealers listed on the dealers list on this site are known to be reliable

If I was starting over again from day one?

Ego from cignot. Cignot rules, super fast shipping, great customer service and the eGo should rock your world.

It's really not like just lighting up a smoke no matter what you do or what anyone says. But, if you really want to quit smokes, you will learn to deal with it. Eventually, you will find something that works for you and to be honest, you should be able to find something that tastes better as well. It's not a one step deal, everyone I know has had to find their own solutions. However, this is the place to ask for help, for almost any question someone will have found an answer.

Everybody is talking about a 510 but I think the 901 is equally good....that gives a decent throat hit and the vapor is there too....prolly as much as a 510. They are also cheaper and battery life is better. If you really want that throat hit, make sure you use a liquid that has 24mg or more....i think thats the more important thing.

I was a 2 pack a day smoker, or more, if the mood was dark, and I switched seamlessly to the V4L set up. Not one smoke since finding the good folks at V4L. If you are a pack a day smoker, go for a manual battery, and make sure you read through flavor reviews for good hitters. Hit can vary wildly, so it pays to have a few options. Maybe get an auto battery too, for when you don't have an extra hand around, and just in case you get a flavor that hits TOO hard (the autos are more mellow for some reason). Work it out from there. Some folks move on to other batts (I graduated to XLs for the life and the vapor/hit combo), others move on to mods, others want atomizer equipped models, but the basic V4L Vaporking set up is a great place to start.

I just ordered an Ego from Cignot along with some Juice. Gonna give that a try and see how it does. I'll post again once I receive it and try it. I've never dripped before, so that should be interesting. I also my try the cartomizers from V4L. I just want a regular tobacco cart. Which one is the best to order?

Try the tobacco sampler for starters. Here is a good for instance- I liked the Kamel and recommended it to my father in law, but he hated it, and liked the Cowboy. To each his own I suppose, but thank God for sampler packs, they are the best intro to any flavor genre.

I'm gonna go out of the norm and recommend an M602.

The performance of this model is more powerful than the M40x series and the best part is that it now comes with both regular carts and cartomiser options. Appearance and performance wise, the 510 doesn't even come close. With the right accessories, i think this will definitely be the 510 killer.
