Hello ECF o/

Here is what I have:
Apex AlphaUltra RES (510) (306)
Silver Bullet (510)
Vapre 51 (DSE 801) (In my opinion the best of these, xcept for the short battery life)

Of these the DSE 801 atty i feel gives me the best flavor the 510s are just dull. It feels as if the vape is a bit harsher and theres only a hint of flavor.

What Im looking for:
A mod with the following specs:

  • compact
  • single battery that lasts at least a day
  • 801 Atty
  • Reo style juice feed system or better

Any Suggestions?
Im also considering getting a ReoMod.

if you like the feed system on your alpha then just get an 801-510 adapter so you can use the atomizers you like on that system, if you want something smaller you can always go with a reo mini which should last about a day. Just a note on high mah batteries, they will last a bit longer but you are usually better of going with aw imr's as they will give you the best performance and have the ability to power low resistance atomizers due to their much higher C rating.

edit -- just remembered that if you are willing to wait a few more weeks the reo mini woodvils are coming out and you should be able to order those with a native 801 fitting, you would need to contact rob directly to have it made for you though. The same can be done if you would like a normal sized woodvil

I love my 7.4v 801 Indulgence, even tho it doesn't have a juice feeder(for that I use my ego-t when I'm out-and-about). But when I'm sitting in front of my computer or TV, I enjoy dripping on my Indulgence, great TH and flavor, huge clouds of vapor, last 8+ hours, very satisfying! That's my :2c:

You could get a Reo Grand with an 18650 batt and a 510-801 adapter.Look around for a high mah 18650,they vary.

Good prophets has adapters and drip tips for a great price and the shipping is cheap too.

sounds like a good setup but he wants something compact. an 18650 is anything but compact IMO haha

Can you really use an adapter and different atty on a bottom feeder PV? I thought you couldn't but do not know for sure.

I would look at the GLV3 (feeder) from Great Lakes Vapor. I've been told you can specifiy the connector you prefer.

I too prefer the 801 atty. You should also look at the low bridge BE112 atty (801) and the mini-801.

That looks awesome thanks for the tip. The other problem I have is that few ecig dealers accept international credit cards. Props to innovapor n altsmoke. Gonna see if I can't order those thread adapters along with the glv3.

PS

Thank you all for your very helpful feedback. =)

Well I ordered the adapters from litecig, and the Glv3. The other retailers are not accepting non us credit cards or paypal accounts. ( I ship to a us address and fwd to my location)

Guess the glv3 (mini) will have to do.

Re: alpha feed system: I use a drip tip, the res just a glorified shield. But the switch on the apex ultra is a royal pita. It gets stuck often and grinds against the casing. Moral of the story.... Mods with button style switches are better.

A mod may lock this thread.

Once again thanks to all of you for your advice.
