Help me get started

I had a long post all written up but the a page timeout ate it up. I'll cliff note it.

I tried to vape 2 years ago but the cheap chinese manufactured ecig was unsatisfying.
My brother bought an EGO-T and I fell in love with it and I am going to buy one. I have a few questions.

He bought from cignot.com and I am planning on buying from litecigusa.net, are they both reputable and is the difference merely prices/service?

I am planning on getting the following kit:

2 x ego-t tank atomizer's
2 xEGO 650mAh rechargeable pushbutton lithium-ion batteries, with built in on, off circuitry.
5 x Empty Tank cartridges
1 x 110VAC to USB wall adapter
1 x USB 500mAh output quick charger (use on your computer or with supplied wall adapter or any other USB 2.0 port or power source) DO NOT USE this USB charger on standard 510 batteries.
1 x instruction manual
1 x Carrying Pouch
All packaged nicely in an attractive box.

Does this have all I need hardware wise?
(I have seen people talk about stocking up, is this technology still so damage prone that it requires fairly consistent replacement parts?)
How long should this kit last me, generally speaking?

In terms of juice, I am pack a day analog smoker, how much juice would last me a week and what nicotine rating should I be looking at?

I generally smoke "full flavor" analogs, I have heard there is no "good" substitute flavor for this but I was hoping to get my girlfriend to try and gravitate towards vaping and she hates anything menthol. Is there anything like this available?

Thanks for the help!

many say Pur-cig from FSUSA is close to an real cigarette...I didn't think so but Im just one voice in a sea voices so you decide. I only use tobacco juice and I choose BB from ave. Just what I like you might not. I'd try to find sample pks from different vendors to see which is best to your liking.

Thats a brilliant kit to get started with. You'll have every chance of quitting the analogs with it.

I'd buy some 24mg(nicotine) liquid if i were you. It should cover you if you're a pack a day man. I think if you started with less, say 18mg, you would be left a little short and feel like reaching for the analogs.

Flavour is all too personal a thing for me to advise you on. Except to say that RY4 is a good safe nice flavour. That most people seem to enjoy. It would certainly be a good starting point. While you went about discovering the flavours that you prefer.
I would recommend that you buy small (5 or 10ml) quantities of each flavour liquid until you establish which ones you want to vape reguklarly.

Hope this helps. Please keep posting. Any probs you have then post em up. Someone will always be up for helping you.

Hi there and welcome to ECF. I was probably a 2 PAD smoker and started off on 24 mg juice. Now about 7 weeks down the track I am vaping 12, 18 & 24 depending on my mood, time of day etc. I would suggest to get some juice in various different strengths to try. You will find the strength that suits you best. If you get some 36 mg and it is too strong, you can always cut it with VG or PG to reduce.

I also wanted a tobacco flavour when I started, but couldnt find one that I liked so went down the sweet fruity path and have really enjoyed those. I do now have a locally produced Ultimate Pipe flavour which has hints of maple though it, and love it as my all day vape, switching to the sweet fruity ones after I get home from work and after dinner.

My wife is / was a menthol smoker and she hates the menthol, however there are plenty of people, like myself who could not stomach menthol smokes, but I do love mint from time to time, although it can tend to be very drying on your mouth and throat.

I am sure that some of the people over in the States there will have some tobacco juice suggestions and vendors for you to try. Unfortunately here in Australia we are quite limited in what we have available locally.

Hope that helps some.

Richard
