Hello and welcome to the forum @Hard_Celery. Glad to have you here!:)

Battery & Charger

You will need a 20A CDR cell. Here are some options (in descending mAh):
  • LG HG2 3000 mAh 20A CDR
  • Samsung 30Q 3000 mAh 20A CDR
  • Sony VTC5 2600 mAh 20A CDR
  • LG HE2 or HE4 2500 mAh 20A CDR
  • Samsung 25r 2500 mAh 20A CDR
Get the best charger that you can reasonably afford. Statistically most battery incidents occur while charging. Xtar, and Nitecore Intellicharger are the most recommended brands. I have a Nitcore Intellicharger D4. Works well. Next time I'll be getting a Xtar VP4 as it tells me the voltage of each cell as it charges.

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US. These suppliers also sell chargers.
Tanks
  • If you are a mouth-2-lung inhaler consider the Aspire Mini Nautillus or eLeaf GS Air M. If your juice has very little PG in it you may need to thin if down with a little distilled water for these tanks to wick the juice fast enough to keep up.
  • If you are a direct lung inhaler look at the Kanger Toptank Mini. It may be possible to M2L inhale with this tank if you close down the airflow. Hopefully someone can chime in regarding this.

This is a very subjective topic but I will give you some go to options. There are lots of tanks out there and I have tried so many. I have been enjoying my Uwell Crown tanks. You can pick one up for about 25-30 bucks and I think MVS has them for 23. It comes with 3 coils (dual coil .25, dual coil .5. and a .15 NI(for TC only). Lots of people like the Atlantis as well as the Herakles. If you prefer mouth to lung then the Aspire Nautilus Mini is prolly the best one out there. You do not need to buy wicks as that pertains to DIY coils.

As far as batteries I would highly recommend the LG HG2 3000Mah 18650 or the Samsung INR 25R 18650 2500Mah. Illumination Supply. has them pretty cheap.. You will also need a charger for the batteries as its not recommended to charge batteries thru the device altho I dont think the Heatvape does.

Also if you have a PG allergy then I would recommend max VG juice. There are lots of vendors out there that sell max VG. Personally i buy from MigVapor, Stash, and Rastavapor to name a couple. Hope this helps!

^^^^ This.

Couldn't recommend better.....

Although, I will admit, I'm fond of the eGo ONE tanks (I have varying sizes) I have premade coils as well as the CLR heads that I can build myself. Whatever tank(s) you choose, I highly recommend airflow control. You can then play with your vape a bit (although I generally run all my bases wide open - even my Nautilus tanks)

The 3000 mAh batteries last longer before needing a recharge I assume?

One more question for you do tanks come with one coil to begin with or do I need to buy those right away?
Most tanks come with 2 coils. When you go to purchase a tank read the description as it will indicate what is included.
Is 3000 the highest for a battery of this size?
Yes.

Hi and welcome. There are a number of good chargers that can be used in the car. The Xtar brand chargers use a USB plug in on the charger, and can take either a wall plug or a 12v plug on the end of the cord. I would recommend that or a Nitecore brand. They also have a model with 12 or 120V cords.

I do not know of a tank that doesn't. The Crown tank I mentioned comes with 3. You may look into ordering some replacement coils along with whatever tank you purchase so you don't get in a pinch. I have yet to even have to replace a coil in my Crown tanks tho and have had them for 2 weeks.
