Hey guys, long time it's been since I wrote my last, was busy with other stuffs, anyway now the main thing, vaping 16mg tobacco flavored juice with my new mod...Still cant get over it "Smoking Cigarettes" !!

Well in this while since the day I've started my quitting journey, failed over times...Now I smoke 10 a day from 25, rest of the time I just vape, Tried full time vaping with no cigs, but failed miserably, so now onto lowering cigs and after some months get rid of it.

Now I have a G-Pen, Snoop Dogg edition...and also loads of pipe tobacco...I felt like "Yeah this is comparable wid cigs" Vaped one load an hour ago...

They say vaping and smoking [Burning on Pipe, Smoking cigs etc] 2 diff things...Vaping just heat up the element, prevents to outcome the chemicals and harmful things from tobacco [Moderated]

Now straight to my question, I felt relaxed and like not anxious anymore that Im trying to quit, what do you know bout [Tobacco Heat Not Burn (Moderated)]? Like if I quit cigs completely and when I have cravings vape pipe tobacco with my G-Pen and also vape 16mg juice to vape tobacco less and passing months like that....Would you suggest that?

I mean they literally says there are no tar on heating vapes, and no risk...So if I choose to vape tobacco when I have high cravings and also to pass the tough times vape my 16mg juice...The combination will go well?

Conclusion: "Is pipe tobacco vaping [Admin edit: Heat-not-Burn] considered as safe thing or more or less like smoking cigarettes?"

If not so should I go with this formula? Like have cravings....vape a pinch of pipe tobacco and pass full time with juice.

I'm confused with tobacco vaping, Please help me to deal with my condition!

My recommendation would be to try this first www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes
In comparison to tobacco, both types of e-liquid provide vast reductions in exposure to harmful chemicals. Nitrosamines are carcinogens, and the study (looking specifically at NNN and NNK, the two that pose the biggest risk) found that per gram of tobacco, there are 3,440 nanograms (billionths of a gram) in total of these nitrosamines. In ordinary e-liquid, there are just 6.1 nanograms per ml, about 564 times less than in tobacco. For NET e-liquids, the total nitrosamine content is 15.8 ng per ml, or 218 times less than tobacco. For vapers choosing between NET e-liquids and conventional tobacco-flavor e-liquids, this means that NETs contain about 2.6 times more nitrosamines than conventional options.

Another would be a better performing set up
Aspire Eigate Nautilus X Top Fill Tank
Innokin Cool Fire 4 TC100W Aethon Chip Express - Black

I always assumed that the smoke from pipe and cigar tobacco was "stronger" and more "toxic" than cigarette smoke. Most pipe and cigar smokers do not inhale the smoke, I assume because of the above. Have you ever tried to inhale pipe or cigar smoke?

I will not give my blessings to your idea of smoking dry h*** or tobacco in a vaporizer. To me, that is defeating the purpose of using a vaporizer to quit smoking. Just my :2c:

Vaping is supposed to be harm reduction. What's the reduction in harm if you are still smoking tobacco in a vaporizer? It's still smoking!

I thought that I would have a tough time quitting smoking by using a vaporizer (using liquid nicotine), and I admit it wasn't easy innitially. I knew that I'd still have strong cravings to smoke. I developed a plan that worked FOR ME.

I had one pack of cigarettes set aside for the week I planned to quit smoking, and vowed that I would never buy another one. When I got a bad craving, I vaped MORE. If that didn't help after a few minutes of hard vaping, I allowed myself HALF of a cigarette, and put it out. I saved that .... for the next bad craving that more vaping wouldn't relieve.

Those remaining HALF cigarettes tasted pretty darn bad, but that helped me to quit, and to finally realize just how nasty cigarettes really taste. The first couple of days I smoked the equivalent of four full cigarettes. Towards the end of the week, I began preferring the vape over the smokes. When the pack was done, so was I. I haven't bought or touched another cigarette since. I haven't even WANTED one.

In essence, I had trainied myself to hate the taste of cigarettes. I was getting the nicotine I was craving from my vape, and the hand-to-mouth and inhaling of vapor was replicating the behavior of smoking, which was an important part my addiction.

A friend of mine quit smoking by putting her cigarette butts into a baby food jar filled with some water. Once the jar was nearly full of cigarette butts, it developed a pretty rancid aroma. When she got the desire for a smoke, she'd open that jar up and take a good whiff. It was nauseating and she kicked the habit.

aahm I think you're discussing some other thing...I'm smoking 10 sticks a day lowering from 25 a day and vape to pass that other 15 cravings...All I'm saying to "Vape The Tobacco" instead of smoking 10 real cigarettes. I'm going gradually decreasing the amount I smoke...And trying to hit zero one day, idk what date

Heat-not-burn is said to be a viable "safer" alternative, though I don't know much about it. Maybe check out this thread: Vaporizing loose leaf tobacco

Thank you, among them I guess only youv got what I tried to say here, well a bit confusing [My Concept] what I guess, anyway

Heat not burn isn't discussed much here, it's not "vaping" as "we" know it and you need different equipment(the topper at least), but the idea of "no smoke, less harm" is the same.

BTW, drug references will get deleted, so just say loose leaf tobacco so people know what you're talking about :)

These are common misconceptions.
Pipe tobacco and Cigars contain less additives. They are less addictive than modern cigarettes.
I tried using a pipe to cut down/ quit cigs.
After every bowl, I still craved a cig.
Same with Hookah Tobacco.

And yes, most Cigar aficionados inhale.
Its a different technique than smoking a cigarette.
We dont spend $300 a box for lozenges.
;)

There is more to smoking than nicotine, even more than the hand to mouth motion and the psychological effect of seeing yourself exhale "smoke." Some people are able to do an immediate switch over to vaping. Some do a gradual switch, replacing a few cigarettes at a time with vaping. Some on this board have never been able to drop the last couple of cigarettes a day after years.

Each of us is different, and our journeys are different. Remember that each cigarette you don't have is a victory. Try not to get discouraged. Keep asking questions when you have them, ECF is more than an information library, it's the world's largest support group :)

As a pipe smoker of 35 years, I have yet to find a pipe juice that is in any way similar to smoking an actual pipe. I would recommend upping your nicotine and trying to find a flavored juice that tickles your taste buds. I started with Cherry, some other fruit flavors but moving to something super strong like Atomic Fire Ball flavored really helped me quit both pipe and cigarette smoking within a few weeks. After a few months, I moved to less power flavors and have been smoke free 3+ years now.
