HI Reonauts,

I'm still a new Reonaut, I more than love my Reo Grand! I use it at 6V with 3 ohms Boge carto, I love it so much i decided to get a mini as well. My only problem is I cant seem to be satisfied at 3.7 Volts... All i have under hand is those Boge 3 Ohms, is that whats making my mini no fun? I ordered some 2 Ohms carto to try out , and now I'm wondering if that will cut it ? In a worst case scenario will a 14500 750mAh IMR battery sustain a 1.5 Ohms dual-coil carto or do i risk frying my battery and hurting my mini ?? I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong) that the 18650 3.7v batt would drive it perfectly in my grand, but i really dont wanna damage my mini and get hurt from a failing battery.

Please help me love my mini !!! i don't wanna part with it, but i dont wanna see it taking dust either :D

Thanks in advance !

I actually have a nice variety of 14500's got 1 of the AW protected , 2 BLD's IMR and 2 trustfire crap ones , and all the AW IMR red ones are out of stock everywhere i check in Canada/US , I'm going to order some as soon as they are in stock. Nevertheless i hope a lower ohm carto really does help coz i love the mini's form factor !!!

Hi Illuminatu -- I use LR 1.5 306 and LR510s (1.5-2.0) and I find that the vape on the Grand and Mini are equally fantastic! The only difference for me is that when I use the mini, I usually swap out the batteries every 3 or 4 hours. A 3.0 will probably give you a cooler vape -- a 1.5 a warmer vape, which I love.

I hope you find an atty that will give you the same vaping sweet spot on your mini that you get on your Grand because you can't beat the portability of a mini! :)

3 ohm is no fun with a 3.7v battery, especially if you are used to higher watts. The "heat" of the vape is determined by the wattage that you are vaping at. With the 3.7v battery, you are at about half the wattage that you are getting with 6v. http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/469/wattage.png A 2 ohm cartomizer will get you closer, but if you went to a 1.5 ohm cartomizer, you will be at about the same wattage.

And the BDL IMR's and ****fire batteries are not great for powering a LR atty/carto. The AW IMR 14500's make a REAL diference. Read this post: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rst-mod-what-you-will-need-8.html#post3301350

I agree....use a lower Ω atty for 3.7. I use 1.5 & 2.0 on mine. And the AW protected batteries will work. :)

The reason you use either 1.5 or 2.0 is based on a particular flavor, what you have available at the time, or what was available to buy at the time?
