Hey guys, I'm wondering if some of you can help me pick out what I should get for my next order today?? I have only $75 to spend ($80 on a VISA GiftCard -$5 shipping); and need help picking which clearos to try and get a bunch of coils/wicks. I'm getting everything from discountvapers :)
What I use mainly is a ProTank on my new eVic, although I need a new PT or 2 (1 I have is leaking from the seal where the top of the glass meets the mouthpiece, causing it to leak a LOT through the bottom; it's trash). And my protank coils have only been lasting me a few days each, so I plan to order some kanthal/silica and begin rebuilding my own.

I really want clearos that work well for me - lots of thick vapor, great flavor/TH, never dry hits, never leaks/gurgles, coils last a long time. I know this is asking a lot.
..... My Protank is my favorite (when it works right) - excellent flavor/TH and big thick clouds when it works right, but my coils seem to fall off after only a day or 2 (@ about 6.5watts) so I have to change them every 3 or so days, and I get a lot of dry-hits sometimes.. My T2 was my 1st device and still my most consistent - the coils last forever, NEVER leaks/gurgles, decent TH but flavor is just good, hardly ever dry hits.. The iClear comes close behind - but the draw is pretty tight, it gurgles/leaks a lott if I overfill it, coils seem to last, good flavor/ok TH. I've tried the regular T3, but it gave me a plastic-like muted taste and leaked a lot so I gave it away. Also had a knockoff Nova I'm not a huge fan of

I'm really interested in the eVod and new T3S. Maybe the coils will last longer and it will give me more consistent thick vapor and great flavor/TH - unlike my PT's.. Which one should I try out? Maybe both..

So help me choose with my $75, from DV.com:
- $17 economy packed ProTank (might buy 2 of these but most likely 1 at least)
- $6 T3S Rebuildable clearo (Hoping this doesn't give me plastic-taste like regular T3 did)
- $6 eVod (either getting this or the T3s, possibly both but I have a lot of tanks already and it's hard keeping coils for each)
- $6 ProT 2.5Ω Coils (out-of-stock; work better than 1.8s for me but still only last a couple days - gonna try rebulding soon)
- $6 T3s/MT3s coils (should I get 1.8Ω or 2.5Ω?? Might get a few packs of these instead of ANY PT coils, since they fit with the PT and evod also)
- $6 eVod coils (might not bother with these if I get the T3S coil/clearo. But do 1.8s or 2.5s work better??)
- $3 1 iClear30 coil (I wanna grab 1 or 2 of these but they're out-of-stock)
- $7 T2 1.8Ω coils (Probably gonna get at least one 5-pack)

If I got 2 Protanks and 1 of everything else, I'd be just over my limit.. But I planned to get 2 five-packs of PT coils and some other stuff (a 510 to EGO adaptor so my T2 sits on my eVic right). Thanks in advance! :p

You have a nice variety of clearomizers there.

I'll only address your question of which ohm coil to get for an Evic. The higher resistance 2.5 ohm coils should give you a wider range of voltages to use on a regulated (V-V/V-W) device. The 1.8 ohm coils might be limited as you approach 4 volts or more and are better suited for a fixed voltage battery device.

Thanks Baditude, I agree. The only thing that's swaying my opinion is this: on my Protank and mostly every other device I like 2.5ohm coils - I seem to get bigger/thicker vapor clouds and better flavor and TH, maybe because of the extra wrap of coil.. But on my T2's for some reason, I've always liked the 1.8ohm coils. I've been using T2's off and on since I started vaping 7 months ago, the higher resistance coils for them seem to give me a muted taste and less TH.

Nice I'll probably try the eVods - I was stuck between 1 or 2 of those to try out, or getting the new T3S/MT3S's.. I just fixed my leaking Protank with Silicone glue and it's completely airtight now and hits great, so I'll only need to order 1 of these now lol :D

As for the evod coils on the Protank - I tried this and it leaked horribly onto my battery, so now I just use the top post from the eVod coil and switcg it out to put ontop of my PT coil. I've been saving this 1 evod-post and putting it ontop of every PT coil I use lol. I need to start rebuilding my own coils now that I've seen how easy it is!! Thanks guys!
