Help me pick a set up!

I used an ego for about 2 months when i started vaping until i moved to an itaste mvp 2.0 which, after getting an itaste,
i realized i would have been able to start of with it. even though it is more adjustable it is easy to do research on these forums and other places to get the jist of adjusting it to find your sweet part. good luck and happy vaping !

I followed the advice of one of the pages in this forum (http://www.reddit.com/r/electronic_cigarette/comments/1j4cco/) and it really gave some good opinions. Subsequently, I went with the Ego twist and bought two of them with the Vivi tank, a USB charger and some juice. It was quite reasonable and yes, I am now looking for more sophisticated VV/VW merchandise. I made the mistake of ordering from FastTech and it has been over 3 weeks and they still have not yet shipped the order. Now, I am looking around to see where I can buy some mods locally to start improving my vape experience. I have bought several tanks from Mt Baker Vapor, Indy Vapor and some other reputable online shops. Have to say the IClearoS has really improved my vape experience (especially with licorice - my favorite) but I can tell I need more power - my ego's only last half a day on weekends and a full day when working. Any advice for a noob on where to get good prices and a nice VV/VW... course, I have been looking at the Provari... but...

If you've gone 4 days cig free already, don't dismiss a simple disposable ecig cigalike you can just keep in your purse and take a puff occasionally.

I thought about that myself but the whole thing with that is the stores I have gone to, don't have lower nicotine than 18mg. I want to slowly decrease my nicotine. Is there such a thing as a disposable ecig that has lower nicotine?

The disposables available around where I am were also on the high to medium range; low wasn't available;

but in your case, if you're just going to take 1 puff to ease the craving then put the cap on it and put it away, it shouldn't be a problem.

but if you try to keep smoking it for 5 minutes like if its a regular cigarette, then you'd really be increasing nicotine intake.

What I have been doing is taking between 3 to 6 puffs at one time to get my nicotine fix. Sometimes more or sometimes less....depending on how bad I feel I need it.

Before the New Year I experimented with the Blu and it was a waste of money - ditto with some other disposable. Best thing I did was find these forums and followed the pros type advice. Got myself the Ego and like they all remarked it was a great setup... course, as others mentioned my love for vaping has got me now yearning for something bigger and better. But, I still really like my Ego Twist for portability and going out and about. When I am home and just chilling then something like a pipe or cigar size seems just right. I also really like the fact there are so many options - you can do lots of tinkering with some rebuildables or I can just grab a quick Vivo/carto and run out of the house. Ended up getting a "murse" to carry supplies and subsequently getting razzled by some friends. But the bag carries my supplies and is really great for holding juice and spares. Ego C twist lasts a good part of the day for me when working and requires practically no maintenance - think I paid less than 40 bucks (4 days of cigarettes here in NY) for the 2 batteries, two tanks and a charger. Still experimenting with juices - though I am partial to Mt Baker Vapor cause they always send me a freebie, ship fast and most of the flavors have been good. Am going to do some experimenting on making some of my own next - watching videos, got a freeware program and have been reading the forums. This site has been a tremendous resource for me - very few trolls and there seems to be a shared spirit between fellow vapors.

i recommend a Vision Spinner and Kanger T3S tank. Thats what i started on and also what i use on the go.

Hi Kendall and welcome to ECF. The choices can be overwhelming. Some folks here have suggested some good options. Everyone's vape experience is their own, but I would second either baditude or brek's suggestions. I've been vaping for almost 5 months, so still relatively new and use Vision Spinner variable volt batteries and Kanger MT3S clearomizers. They have been working fine for me. No matter what you buy, be sure to get at least 2 of everything (except maybe the charger) so you have backups and in time get backups for those backups.

Vaping can be as simple or complex as you make it. As you get further along on your vaping path you can always add more bells and whistles. However a good, but simple variable volt battery with a decent clearo never goes out of style and can always be used as backups should you choose to get the "bells and whistles" gear in the future.

Whatever it takes to make your vaping experience be a sufficient substitute for analogs is the most important thing. YOUR right combination of gear and juice will allow vaping to work for you.

I hope you continue to contribute to ECF and share your experience. Keep the vape and namaste.
