Hey guys.
Got my first mod and I love it. I went cheap on my first. Got an aluminum smoktek ace. Im a firm believer that you get what you pay for, so my next one will be in the higher price range. I require a vv/vw that can read ohms. Battery power meter would be nice, but not necessary. I don't like the look of a box mod. I was looking at the provari, but I'm not a fan of the menu system. I like how my ace has the 3 buttons. It makes menu navigation simple and quick. I saw the joytech evic supreme. At this time it looks like the fore runner, but I don't need all those bells and whistles it has. Almost seems like having that many menus would defeat the purpose of having an easier navigation system than the provari.
This will be used with a kayfun. I don't sub-ohm.
Any suggestions for anything else I should be looking at?

Kangside Vamo

only vv/vw tube mods i ever hear about are the vamos. i would suggest NOT getting a DNA30 one though, as the DNA30 board does not have reverse battery protection, so if you accidentally put a battery in the wrong way while swapping batteries in n out, you just fry the chip and render the mod completely useless.

evic supreme looks nice but i would lookup reviews on it on youtube before you purchase. Lots of good reviewers out there that point out pros/cons. IMO VV/VW is a 'box'-style world though, the best vv/vw are box style.

Thanks for those pointers. I'd seen the vamos, but was thinking I could get something built better. It's pretty moderately priced so I was thinking that would show. I will be looking into that svd2.0. Thanks for the heads up on that one. Build quality is of great importance to me. In the end I may just go provari and live with the menu system.
