vape Mail. I've go to say it's not a bad mod for the price. It's got some weight to it and takes time to get used to the fire bar but overall it works good. Time will tell of course.

Edit: I installed the firmware update 1.08 with no problem. Watched the Vapor Chonicle guy on YouTube and he walks you right though it with ease.

really diggin the quad coil - seems to kick it up a notch from the triple
Really, wow. That's interesting as I found that the Quad coils are actually cheaper than the Triple Coil in sets of 5. I took that to suggest there was something 'cheaper' about their construction or materials, etc.

Good to hear your opinions on this stuff.

looking at them both, the triple coils are probably more of a pain in the tuckus to make - 3 separate coils, wicked individually versus 2 stacked parallel coils for the quad, with wicking around whole column - but yeah, I though the exact same thing - don't get me wrong, I think the triple is a great vape, just liking the quad more at the moment...

VERY intriguing Device here... Really Dig the looks and I am always a "sucker" for gimmicky and glittery Bells & Whistles (the App). I prefer a heavy Mod so this is fine by me.
Now,,, the Biggest Determinant; How's the TC performing for ya dc?
Specifically Ti if you or anyone has gone there with this yet.

okay, @Hitcat44 , i finally got off my lazy duff and put a tc coil in my original freemax starre tank and lit it up... had to dink around with the settings a little, as it seemed to *act* like it was firing at first, then not... took tank off, made sure coil was seated and cotton saturated and put it back on... now... WHOA

running freemax ni200 coil (.25ohm)... at 450' F... doesn't feel like I am getting a hit, but chucking fog - super cool vape... pushed it to 500'F - a little warmer, still stupid smooth, nice flavor (vaping my looper clone on it)... 540' - still rocking... little more throat hit, but great flavor... will continue to test this evening (purely in the interest of science)... have not got any Ti yet, so no love there, brother... but this is my first actual foray into TC - very nice vape, I must say, though I guess I have kind of gotten used to a warmer vape, but liking the vape and the flavor so far

it asked about 'new coil' and i set it for Ni, with the .000060 coefficient for Ni200 (was preset, i just confirmed), and selected SC for single coil (versus DC/ dual coil option)... mine does have the Ti option unlocked (was 49 cents...)

from what I understand, the app actually has some value-add with TC options (control of coefficient, etc - going to have to do some more research before I start putzing with that though)... did not have to lock it, though

So I have been skimming through a few posts, but wasn't patient enough to find an answer and this thread seems to be the best one to ask this...What are folks using for batteries in the X Cube II? I am using Samsung 25R and LG HE4 @ 3.7V 2500mah at the moment and I am just wondering if there is a better choice out there. I end up having to switch out batteries about mid day, but I am using the TFV4 at higher wattages (around 90watts). Any suggestions would be GREAT! :D

Yeppers, throwing 90W is like standing on the Gas in your Car/Truck. Gonna eat up the Fuel.
The Batteries, like your Fuel Tank, are finite and a zero-sum Game. More Power=higher rate of consumption of the available Fuel.
Only way to change that is increase the size of your Fuel Tank. Given that ya can't factually have tons of mah AND a CDR that will keep you within acceptable Safety Parameters, ya gotta pick your Poison. Either accept and deal with limited Fuel Range and refill more often OR slow down and ease up on the Throttle.
The typical "Best Case Scenario" (max mah AND adequate & safe CDR) Battery like the 25R, VTC4/5, LG HG2, etc. is as good as it gets.
I'm an "And" person but sometimes, as in Cases like this, ya just gotta accept the "Or", make your choice, then let it go and Vape On.

Awesome Review/Tutorial.
Great Info and Explanation of Device and all Facets of Design, Function, and Usage.
Gonna have to get one of these for a Work ADV Device & split time with the Hollowpoint Mech.

Most thorough Review (Tutorial) I have ever seen on a Device. For One as complicated and Feature-Packed as this,,, That's saying a TON!
Kudos & Thanks to The Vapor Chronicles :thumb:
AND the Best Part; fact-filled and Substantive with none of the Megalomanical Equine Defecation that the most Popular/Well-Knowns/You Know Whos splatter their Rant-Reviews with like ExLaxed Baboons.
Answered All my Concerns and Questions and them some. The Way they ALL should be (IMO).
