Help me understand my MVP settings

I am not sure how the settings buttons work, especially the voltage buttons. No matter what I set the voltage at, when I press both the voltage and wattage buttons, first it shows the ohm rating of the coil as expected, but then it shows the voltage at 3.8. I can manually set it up or down, but the two button press always shows 3.8. What gives?

Hey 6steelstrings! When you press the two buttons together, you do get the resistance of the atty on top. You need to press one or the other - hold for a sec or two. You'll get your puff count and then either a Px.x or a Ux.x Then, you keep clicking the one button to cycle through the options. As you face the two buttons, Power on the right, Voltage on the left.

The 3.8 that you see after the combined button press is the charge left on the battery.

Give a whirl and hollah back here if you are still having issues.

What you are seeing Is battery life.

Holding both=resistance, when released shows battery life.
The buttons pressed independently will give you the puff count and either voltage or wattage. U=Voltage, P=Wattage.
Press either button to desired power setting.

Also you use either voltage mode or wattage mode, you don't set both. Whichever button you used last will be what it is set to.

You'll also notice that the button light will start glowing yellow shortly after you hit 3.7 volts and red shortly after you hit 3.6 volts.

At what voltage does the MVP shut down? I haven't gotten to that point before recharging as this thing chugs along all day with heavy use.

Ah, reread your post. I guess 3.6v is the number?

It turns red at 3.6 and shuts down at 3.3
