Could be your atomizer isn't making contact with the battery.
Does the battery light up when you press the button (or if an automatic, suck on the battery connection to make it light up) after you've charged it?? When you put the battery on the charger, does it flash (ash end) and does the charger show green when it's charged?
If not, your atomizer or battery center connection post may be pressed in (if you screw in the battery too tight or over tighten the atomizerr, it can compress the center pin which is set into a rubber insulator). This is common with new users.
Try pulling up the center post of either the battery or atomizer with an eyeglasses screwdriver (or something small and sharp like tweezers). I pull up GENTLY at 12:00 and at 6:00 position. Here is a post with some pictures of what I'm talking about.

When you put a battery into a charger, only screw it in to the point where it flashes and the charger light changes.
Also, if an atomizer isn't made by the same company as the battery, sometimes the connection isn't made due to being off in tolerance (not often, but happesn). Again, pulling up a center post for connection may help).
Let me know if that helps. If not, we'll get ya figured out.
