Brand new, right out of the box, I fill it up, let it wick, start puffing and almost collapse my lungs trying to draw air through it. It simply doesn't work. Only the smallest volume of air travels through it. I took it apart and cleaned it and tried to suss out the problem. No luck. It seems like the airflow unit itself is the issue. If I blow or suck through it alone I get no airflow. The airflow adjustment ring spins pretty freely and it doesn't seem to affect the actual airflow.

Anybody have any ideas? I don't think I'll be able to return it, so I'll play with it for a while, may even get the Dremel out.

1- Check airflow controller and set it at the smallest setting. Then spin it slowly to the right towards the largest hole mark. Do you see the hole increase in size? If you don't, then keep spinning it slowly, maybe the markings on the controller are not aligned correctly and the air hole section is on the other side.

2- Try the second coil

3- Your last resort, if you can't return it, buy the airflow controller by it's self from myvaporstore.com

Hope this helps you

Sounds like it missed the inspection line. Somewhere there's a missing hole that needs to connect the holes at the base to where the coil sits. Try it with the coil removed. Or try the extra coil they give you.

Tried that, it almost seems like there aren't holes inside the ring like there should be.

Tried that as well, but I didn't know they were selling bases for the Mega tanks. That is good news. Thank you.

Drill it. I'd take a nail and punch a small divot to guide your drill bit. It may take a few seconds to drill through it.

Kanger must use some good metal, I swear it took me longer to drill out a 1/16 hole in an Evod base then it took me to widen the air hole in my EHPro Kayfun Lite base to 5/64!

Probably gonna give that a shot. I have a new base in the mail, so we'll see what happens.
