That is definitely a dead atty. are you sure you have tested it properly. one lead to the little hole in the battery end, and one end of the lead on the thread on the outer casing of the atty. sounds like you do know how to do it.

Bonniegirl told me to try and boil it for about 10 or 15 minutes, and then dry it out real good. you should be able to blow it out quite a few times to get it dry enough to see if it will fire. If it does fire, I would let it dry in front of a fan over night. Maybe someone else can chime in here.

thanks for the reply, godzilla! i ended up soaking it in some iso alcohol all day today...will boil it and see if that works. or should i try to see if it works after the iso alcohol? before boiling it?
just wondering what would cause the high resistance so suddenly? it was working just fine. i have been using a clear mt. do liquid the past few days, and it doesnt seem to be a sweet liquid but i could be wrong. could buildup cause the high resistance? i did blow it out last week and let it sit dry overnite. didnt notice any differences after. just did it as a preventative.
