So, I am needing some help ecf-ers. I got myself one of these Hotecig H-ana dna30 clones. Thing is behaving very strangely. Pretty sure I ordered a dud.
- Occasionally just freezes and nothing will happen.
- Once autofired completely out of the blue
- Mainly accurate resistance meter.
- Seems an authentic purple Efest

The big issue though is this; quite randomly the fire button does nothing and it seems that the down button becomes the fire button. As in, it will cause the unit to fire if I press down. Further, once pressed, the only way to stop the atomizer firing is to unscrew the atty.kayfun lite - confirmed not a short.
Gets stuck on Check Atomiser whenever this happens. After removing battery this issue is sometimes resolved.

I've searched and searched and haven't come across anyone else having this issue. Hopefully someone will be able to give advice as I have 2 of these, haven't used the other one at all.

Thanks

Some people get clone mods and have no problems with them.
now for mods I'm sticking with authentic - buy clone tanks and such seems ok mostly. if you buy one that other people have and like.
I buy clone RDA's and RTA's only. For the cost of a Hana clone, you can buy an authentic of something else that's far better like an iPV Mini.

I just wish I knew why it was fine with my other tanks. I mean, I have had zero problems with either rda's or the Subtank with the Hana. Only the Kayfun.

Something bypassing the firing is wiggy. Just to hopefully dislodge something in someone's brain -- If this is only happening with the kayfun -- what's different about the Kayfun and how it connects compared to the other atties? e.g., is the 510 a different length, so when screwed all the way down it's somehow messing with the firing mechanism?

Hopefully someone clever here might be able to help me out.

Did a Lord in a cardigan just subtly insinuate that I am not clever? I will allow it, because cardigans are awesome.

And yeah, you've got me -- but I'm highly suspicious of that connection/firing switch. The kayfun is weighty -- if there's some wonkiness in the wiring to the center pin, that might be doing it. The only thing that throws me is that if we're talking weight, the subtank is pretty large, but it probably also isn't as heavy and that floating pin might remove some of it. I'd ask if you could duplicate it with the plume by applying downward pressure, but if it is some wonky wiring/switch...
