Ok lets start out with some basics. I vape a joye510. I drip and have been smoke free for 3 months. I usually vape 1 flavor all day and switch between 4 attys.

All of a sudden, I got really disappointed with almost every juice I have. I clean my attys about once every week or two depending on if im changing flavors. Every flavor I have now just doesnt satisfy me. I went from 1-3MLs (depending on if i was working or had off or how long work was) to .5-1ML a day. Last night I went out and bought a pack of cigs. I dont want to smoke but I dont like any of my flavors, and yes cigs taste worse.

Anyone have this happen? Anyone know what to do?

And I have been keeping all my juices in a cool area. Its not dark but they get no direct light. None of the juices are older than a month old.

Try around. I'd say try a KR808D-1 premium cartomizer from vapor4life or a turbo cartomizer from vapornine. And try a 5 volt pass-thru or some Low Resistance atomizers.

The key to success is experimenting around until you find what works for you. Not locking yourself in to one set up that might fail or frustrate you.

Yeah that happened to me and I slipped back into smoking a pack a day... sometimes more. What did I do? I sold my entire collection. Then I bought a new joye510 kit from the classified forum and spent whatever I had left on TastyVapor juice. (about 190$). There's also juice swapping threads so if you don't like something you can swap it.

Yep....my old, stand by dekang flavors (marb, kent, ry4) lost their wow over time. Then I found Halo Torque/Freedom and that really spoiled them...still working thru 1/2 a liter I had for ban stocking.

So now I try pretty much something new/different each month both in flavor and vendor. Go back and order a few extras of those I really liked and keep on truckin'

Mixing up the atty/volt types suggested above is probably a good approach too.

Just don't stop trying I guess is my bottom line :D

I have the 510 also but I've been vaping for less than two weeks so I'm no expert by any means. However, in that short time I've recognized that the key for me is to have a wide variety of dissimilar flavors that I enjoy. The first three flavors I got with my initial order(both Dekang PG only tobacco flavors) really didn't do it for me at all. They were a nice enough flavor and produced lots of vapor but they neither tasted anything like my brand of analogs, nor were they exciting or interesting enough by themselves. I can't say they all tasted the same, but they were all sufficiently similar in enough respects to keep me restless and looking for more. I realized that at that rate I would be back on the analogs in a matter of days at best, so I immediately ordered another 7 more flavors, several of them flavors that I never even considered the first time around because of my initial mindset.

Now I switch flavors several times a day. I'll get a taste for and enjoy one for a while then get bored and switch to something else. This has worked out great for me so far, and I plan to get just a few more flavors that intrigue me. What's more, I now enjoy my first tobacco flavors much more than I did originally. One of the flavors I ordered in my second batch was Menthol. I would never have considered it until reading a number of posts from non-Menthol smokers like myself who said that though they didn't ever smoke or like menthol cigs, they found to their surprise that they enjoyed vaping it, or mixing it with other flavors. I've found the same thing. Now the original tobacco flavors that I wasn't so keen on are basically multiplied(with and w/out Menthol) and I enjoy them a good deal more now that I vape them in a rotation with 5 or 6 other flavors I also like. I'm having very little trouble with cravings and haven't had an analog since I cracked open my 510 kit.

Go to your local drugstore and buy some Lorann's cinnamon oil or one of the other flavors that sounds interesting (usually in the back on the prescription counter). Add it on top of your current flavor (4-5 drops / 10 ml). It will significantly intensify the flavor, and expose you to some new interesting tastes.
I found after vaping for a while that none of the flavors "did it" for me anymore. I started experimenting this way, and it kept me happy and got me through the lull. Seems like you reach a point where your taste buds regrow, and all of the sudden the tastes don't appeal.
Once I "retrained" my taste buds, I was able to go back to vaping the original flavors and they tasted good again. I still make some DIY from time to time, but usually just use the stock flavors. I also vape straight unflavored for fun occaisionally. You get serious TH from that, too.

I think this at one point happens to all of us. Your taste buds get used to one flavor. I know many people switch flavors throughout the day but I try to use on flavor for a couple of days then switch. Thus not allow your taste buds to get used to one flavor. It's a bit like walking into a cologne store , it first the smell is so strong but after a few minutes you hardly notice the smell.

kackourey, what are these flavors you have? As stated, drastic differences in juices can keep things fresh on a regular, rotating basis. My four flavors right now are caffe macchiato, Menthol, RY4 and clove. To me, the menthol and clove have such a sharp taste that it really livens things up if I've been vaping nothing but sweet for a day or two. Then going back to the sweet tastes divine.

Also try mixing it up during the day. Sometimes I'll start out with the macchiato, but I'll also be drinking coffee at the same time which kinda cancels each other out and turns into blah. So then I'll go out to work, or running errands and hit up the menthol in the car and it's very refreshing. Then when I get home I chill with something different, like bananas and cream. It may just be that you've gotten yourself stuck in a rhythm that turned into a rut.

I think this happens to everyone at some point.....my theory is that when you first begin vaping everything tastes so much better than cigarettes that you don't realize how bad the first juice you bought really was......then, when your sense of taste comes back you realize you have to be just as concerned about where you get your juice as you were about where you got your battery......
